I am an incredibly dedicated, youthful, and energetic tutor. I am about to embark on my first year at university, studying for a degree in Law with French and French Law BA at The University of Nottingham and I have been educated at a top grammar school in West Yorkshire where I excelled in my studies and now, I am ready to pass on my love for my subjects to the next generation of students! Languages have always been my favorite subjects and I do all that I can to gain more subject knowledge from reading books and articles to listening to the current number- one songs in the country! I have loads of books that I can recommend to help you move forward with your grammar or other topics in the GCSE/A-Level specs in French, as well as many songs and films/series that will enhance your ability to understand and hear key vocab/grasp key concepts which is often neglected in a classroom environment. This link to culture is vital when learning a language and will make you stand out when speaking the target language abroad. As for English, I love to try and make the texts seem relevant, with links to the modern-day and using songs and videos to help with interactive learning. I achieved a 9 in my GCSE French, Spanish, English Language, and English Literature exams and I have just completed my studies in French, Spanish and English Literature at A-Level. I would love to be able to pass my knowledge and passion for these subjects onto others! I am super passionate about instilling confidence in the people I work with. I love making sessions fun and interesting. I hope that being a young tutor and knowing exactly how much work the student has to do and what is required, will really benefit me when I come to meet the student as I am sure we will see eye-to-eye! I also have an accredited certificate in TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language)
