Hi, I am a tutor in English Literature based in Edinburgh. I am currently in my third year studying English Literature at the University of Edinburgh. During the holidays I live and work at home in Somerset. My primary goal as a tutor is to develop a positive working relationship with my student to best address their academic needs and objectives, whatever these may be. I am able to work with students of varying abilities, assisting some to reach A*/Level 9 grades, and others to push up their grade to a pass. With all students, I aim to instil self-belief in their abilities and motivate them to become confident independent learners. My sessions are always tailored around the needs of the individual and are structured around progression and, where needed, reassessment of goals. I am confident I have the academic expertise and enthusiasm to enable my students to reach their full potential.
