My name is Arisa, I am 33 years old. I have studied French here in Amsterdam and I have worked as a French Language teacher for several years.
Currently I'm running a freelance business called Pidgin Tutoring, where I specialise in Dutch. I have also worked as a Dutch Language Teacher at Lycée Francais Vincent van Gogh in Amsterdam where I've worked with children in the age of 2-4 years old.
My main goal is to help my students improve their Dutch and to pass all of their exams. And to prove that learning these languages can be fun :)

I decided to take private lessons because I needed to practice my (basic/medium) Dutch. Arisa is great. The whole lesson is in Dutch which helps with the immersive experience and after a few lessons I was already much more confident to speak. She is always very well prepared and we don't stop the lesson until she has covered everything she needed to cover even if that means overrunning a bit.
I would definitely recommend her.
Arisa was very good at understanding how my English-speaking son (6) could best master the Dutch language, so Arisa made this possible through play. She was very creative and my son enjoyed learning Dutch. We will ask Arisa for lessons more often. Thank you very much Arisa!!!
