Trusted teacher: Do you want to prepare for a German exam for a visa application in a German-speaking country such as Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein? And/or are you a scientist looking to learn German? If you want to improve your German skills for a career in (natural) sciences or your private life, I will offer you individualised lesson to help you reach your goals. I was born and grew up in Frankfurt am Main in Germany. I am professionally trained from Heidelberg University in biotechnology, including molecular biology, mathematics, physics, biochemistry, medical research and bioinformatics/programming. Moreover, I am trained in psychology + philosophy. We will tailor the lesson to your needs: whether you want to apply for a job position / visum in Germany or your German certificates, study in a German-speaking country, or expand your language skills to be able to communicate with your partner, friend, or read German books. I offer lessons for all ages and backgrounds. *********************** GERMAN for VISA application ********************** Depending on the country and type of visum, different requirements apply. Trusted teacher: Ahoj ! Jmenuji se Claude. Chtěli byste plynně mluvit francouzsky nebo německy? Jsem připraven vám pomoci, protože to jsou moje mateřské jazyky. Dříve jsem pracoval v oblasti prodeje a mohu vám také pomoci naučit se obchodní francouzštinu, němčinu nebo angličtinu. Pro své hodiny dávám přednost osobnímu setkání s dobrou kávou, například v kavárně. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello ! My name is Claude. Would you like to be fluent in French or German ? I am ready to help you, as those are my mother languages. I've been previously working in sales and I can also help you to learn Business French or Business German. For my lessons, I prefer 1:1 with a good coffee for example in a café. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hallo !

Trusted teacher: I'm a highly qualified and experienced translator and a language teacher for German and Hungarian. Being a translator and a polyglot enables me to see languages and their grammar systems from a different angle than 'regular' German native speakers or school teachers. Based on my training and my regional expertise I also provide a variety of language support services for German. I have taught both in the private sector and in numerous language schools, adults and children of different ages. I can offer German to B2 level since I live and work in Vienna for more than 20 years now. I came here to study and made my Bachelor's degree in Transcultural Communication and a Master's degree in Translation and Terminology Sciences at the University of Vienna then settled down with a good man and built a family. I also have a teaching qualification for 'German as a Foreign Language' from the University of Kassel in Germany, and didactic training on the renowned BERLITZ-method for 'Native Speaker Language Teachers'. Usually, I work from home, where I have a vast library of teaching resources such as worksheets, textbooks, picture dictionaries, flashcards, games, and lots of books for Beginners with Hungarian-German-English parallel texts, short stories for Easy Readers, etc. I use varying tutoring approaches, because no two learners are alike, whereby enjoyment is an important factor in my lessons. I very much like to use the latest technology and teaching techniques, but also have an extensive compilation of German-language games, cards, songs, short stories, videos. I'm fond of and really appreciate internet sources to teach German, for I do believe that learning German can be fun. I aim to foster a friendly but professional relationship with each of my students, to build their confidence and self-belief when they learn a new language. German can be an extremely challenging language and as an experienced German tutor, I really can help you learn it. A private tutor is there to provide the support you need to enhance your language skills, especially your communication skills, and give you confidence in speaking the language. One-to-one language lessons can make grammar become far more accessible, together we'll sharpen your passive skills in reading and listening, and practice your active skills in speaking and writing. * Why choose me? * 20 years of teaching experience A multitude of Teaching/Learning Materials Explanation in English, German or Hungarian University trained translator and language teacher Flexible schedule, available also on Saturday and Sunday Very patient and always supportive, with a good portion of humor 1-to-1 classes in Vienna 2nd, outdoors in the city center, and online

Julia was a great tutor! I could tell that she really cares about you doing well. One thing that I very much appreciated was the fact that throughout the lessons she would be taking notes so that she could go over some pointers with me afterwards. Danke Julia!

Lion
He was great at meeting with us and identifying exactly where we needed to start in German. Likewise, he had a strong grasp of the German language and was able to explain why to do certain actions.
