Trusted teacher: We are two math and physics tutors and help with homework for all levels up to university. We give our private lessons online via zoom. We have decided to create a common profile in order to best meet the demands of our students and thus ensure the most adequate support according to their profile and expectations. Alejandro: I am a master's student in sustainable development. Before that I obtained my Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering at EPFL. I offer math / physics courses for students who need help to follow their courses as well as those in search of improvement. Elea: I graduated from the school of speech therapy (speech therapy) at La Sorbonne University in Paris in July. Before my training, I obtained my scientific baccalaureate with honors, and completed a year of preparation for speech therapy competitions. I thus have a scientific and literary background allowing me to support your child in all the subjects of his school curriculum. I would like to point out that I am offering private lessons here in a school setting and not speech therapy sessions which are part of the care. Nevertheless, my training allows me to demonstrate a pedagogy taking into account the profile of your child. Comprehensive and methodical, we personalize our lessons to be able to provide solid support to our students. Our courses allow you to acquire methods of reflection and resolution of exercises to better tackle these subjects. Our goal is to help our students gain confidence and skills in the targeted subjects, so they can face the exams with confidence. Are you not convinced of the effectiveness of online courses? We invite you to ask us for more information on the course of the distance learning courses, guaranteeing you a safe learning.

Trusted teacher: I have been tutoring French and English for the past 20 years to students of various ages & origins and of numerous backgrounds: children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and also sometimes even older seniors (85+). Why am I teaching both languages? Well, I’m bilingual and of American & Swiss/French origins, and... I live in Ireland! This is what makes my teaching strong and relevant because I understand both cultures and therefore I can adapt my classes depending on the language of my students. While I was studying social work in French-speaking Switzerland, I was giving French/English private lessons in order to earn a side income. And I genuinely enjoyed it doing it! After I graduated and started working full-time, I didn’t give up this activity because I loved meeting new people and helping them achieve their goals. My teaching is always interactive in order to hold my students’ attention during the whole length of the classes, using numerous learning tools (photos, newspaper articles, music, videos, etc.) Naturally, I will focus on the priority of each student. Some students will want to improve their pronunciation, grammatical, and vocabulary skills, others will need to prepare a presentation or a speech at school/work, while others just want to learn a new language to enrich their general knowledge. And sometimes too, parents want their younger children to master a new language. Thanks to my education and experience with children, I’m also able to run a class dedicated to them! What you will gain from my course is not only good pronunciation and vocabulary/grammar improvement but also a deeper knowledge and understanding of the culture that surrounds one language! When you speak a language it’s important to appreciate the lifestyle, traditions, and heritage of the nation(s) speaking it. Both French and English are spoken in many countries around the world, as primary languages, and with so many different accents: the learning process is unlimited! Before the COVID restrictions, I was mainly teaching face-to-face and with a maximum of four students, but at the moment, I’m only teaching online (one-and-one) on Zoom. Besides that, I’m also a genealogist, I’m running Spiritual Seminars in the West of Ireland and I have a passion for vegetarian & vegan cuisine. I hold a Degree in Early Childhood Education for many years I owned a private “Before & Afterschool” facility for children aged 4 to 12. I’m looking forward to meeting you

Anne
I began french classes with Anne in December 2020. From the very first class until now the classes have been both challenging and greatly enjoyable. Anne is an excellent teacher. With her patience and her thorough knowledge of the french language you will find yoursel making improvements at every class. Having the classes online via Skype has been a great advantage. Not only has it been a time and energy saver but it has the added advantage of being able to record on Skype. At the end of each class I am able to relisten to the recordings of the class. This helps me revise any points of grammar or pronunciation discussed during the class and also make notes on the fluid manner in which Anne expresses her views on the themes or subjects that were broached upon. Each class is well structured and we have worked on spelling, grammar, oral as well as written communication.

Juliana
It is never easy to find a good language teacher, who is professional, but also flexible enough to meet the student’s individual needs. Juliana is a fantastic teacher, whose experience, knowledge, understanding and patience creates the perfect atmosphere for improving one’s language skills at all levels. Juliana’s flexibility and adaptation to – the sometimes hectic - availability of students is also very rare and exemplary. Moreover, her extensive world-view/experience helps to maintain conversations with students in any particular subject. Having language courses with Juliana is highly recommended.

Phillip
It is always a pleasure to meet Phil for our weekly online French classes. He is a patient and kind teacher and always full of energy for our class. Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. I woulf highly recommend Phil if you are looking for a French tutor :)
