Hi, thank you for checking out my profile. My name is Alaleh, and I am a professional language teacher. I teach both English and Farsi &I've been teaching English for 12 years. I did my undergrad studies in English Lang Translation in Iran and then moved to Colchester, England where I completed my Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of other languages at University of Essex. I also taught English for 3 years while I was living England. I really love teaching as it gives me the opportunity to meet people, impart my knowledge and above all I enjoy seeing my Ss progress. I can help you with any skill, for example speaking, listening, reading and writing, or any aspect of language such as grammar and vocabulary. I offer conversational lessons. Mostly my students have spent a lot of time studying and practicing grammar and studying vocabulary and they need the chance to practice speaking. So we can talk about whole range of topics from daily life, current affairs to any interests that you have. My students were Europeans whose partners were Iranians. Regarding my Farsi lessons, it’s not much different from my English lessons, the method employed is more or less the same. Basically If you are a true beginner, we’ll start with alphabet and then will move on basic vocabulary items needed for daily life. and will proceed based on a very useful course book that I’m delighted to share it with for free. Along the way, as we go on I include more fun materials , different instructive activities and cultural information to make your Farsi better in leaps and bounds. I am Jamileh, a Persian English teacher from Iran with M.A in TEFL and B.A in English translation, besides I have a TESOL Certificate with the most important and fundamental theories and methodologies of teaching and thirteen years of experience in teaching English to kids, young-adults, and adult learners in Iran and Turkey. Therefore I can teach at any age. I am a native speaker of this lovely language. Besides, I have been educated in Persian literature and I know the style of teaching this sweet language and I can teach the most fundamental forms of making sentences to English speakers. With this sweet language, you can learn more about the glorious culture of my country, Iran, and also you will get access to communicate with almost 120 million people and read and enjoy great literature masterpieces such as SHAHNAMEH, HAFIZ, KHAYYAM, and RUMI. Studying Persian provides an entry into a rich and diverse culture that produced major epic and Sufi poets such as Ferdowsi, Rumi, and Hafez, exquisite miniature painting, fine carpets, and world-class films. My mother tongue is Persian and I am fluent in English; meanwhile, I am learning French and Turkish. As a teacher, I prefer to be friendly with my students, but also strict when it comes to fulfilling the duties. I believe that the key to good teaching is to make any topic or material comprehensive, dividing it into smaller units. The only positive point of living is to learn endlessly. Let's get it done. This class concentrates mainly on four skills of speaking, reading, writing, and listening in Persian/ Farsi. First, we'd have a placement test to see your level of knowledge. Then I will present the topic of the session before and we would work on it in the next session. My teaching method is a selection of the best books and methodologies I have experienced during 13 years of teaching. The class would be held via the Zoom app and I will write all the points on the whiteboard for you, you will be given some tasks to practice and be checked each session. The more persistent you are, the sooner you will get results.
