KsuPattern Making and Sewing Classes Women's wear, Home Textile
With so many things selling outside, still many times it doesn't quite fit our taste and style. With sewing and pattern making skills you can bring anything you've imagined to reality. With good sewing skills you can upscale any DIY project and make it look like you just purchased it at the designers boutique. Learning pattern making allows you to develop any garment from scratch and be sure that nobody has anything like this.
I'm adjusting to any level of knowledge from the beginner to advanced. Sharing all the techniques and tricks I know. If you think that you are a hard learner I have a lot of patience and always will find the way to explain everything till I absolutely sure you understand. I'm a practicing fashion designer and have more then 10 years experience of teaching groups and in private.
JannaLearn to sew. Start a new hobby or improve your skills while having fun
Sustainability and environmental awareness are more and more popular topics. One way to have fun with this topic is to sew anything from helpful gadgets to clothing yourself.
But of course sewing is also a wonderful, creative and relaxing hobby for every age group.
I'll show you how to realize your own projects. We start with your level of knowledge. Do you already have the basics? No problem, we are happy to deepen certain skills or venture into new projects.
Are you still at the beginning? Not an issue either. I'll show you what you need and we'll start a new project together.
KoralenaDevelop a unique fashion design vision with Central Saint Martins alumna
Firstly we will go through a consultation to define your individual requirements so I can tailor the sessions specifically to you. Previous work/a portfolio is great to see, if you’re a beginner we can discuss what you’d like to learn and achieve. Whilst getting to know one another I will also provide some resources for us to discuss so I can see how your brain interprets 3D relationships.
Following this, I will create a plan of action for us to follow to help you achieve your goal.
I am very honest with my approach, and will help you turn your weaknesses into strengths, as well as encouraging you to develop your own unique design style, brand & process (and the confidence to execute!). I will encourage you to think outside the box & realise potential routes to your goal you hadn’t previously considered.
I can help with:
• Creating a vision and portfolio that demonstrates your designer DNA.
• Creating a portfolio for application to a Fashion Degree.
• Help collecting the right ingredients & contacts to start a fashion label.
• Developing original textiles.
• How to create a pattern, and how to grade it.
• How to use a sewing machine, and how to sew different types of seams, collars, cuffs, pockets, hems, sleeves, waistbands, trousers & fastenings.
I provide 24 hour support.
Any questions you have about working in the industry or studying a Fashion degree I am more than happy to help with.

ElinaNatural fabric and yarn dyeing with plants and organic colors
During my education in textiles, I learned a lot about fabric and yarn dyes with pigments coming from nature: plants, berries, fruit, moss, spices, and so many more sources.
The colors can be found all around, and differ for each season. I can teach you different coloring techniques, varieties of colors, and fixing the color on the material. It is both fun and ecological, and I would love to share this knowledge.
SefeBA (Hons) Fashion Design & Technology Graduate offering Pattern and Construction lessons
Teaching students aged 15+ fundamental basics to free hand pattern drafting in the fashion industry.
Pattern-cutting is the essential skill of all designers in bringing a design to life from a 2D perspective to a 3D wearable garment.
Block patterns are used for standardised sizing, but for a full understanding of how patterns work, I will be teaching the basics in drafting and developing a basic skirt pattern, which can then be used for your own designs.
My lessons would be a vast advantage to students finishing their GCSE's or A-level's Textile who wish to continue further on to Fashion at foundation/university, as it will provide you with a insightful head start on a crucial aspect of all Fashion courses.
However, these skills are accessible to everyone from all professional backgrounds, so if you'd like to learn about the creation of garments from scratch, these lessons will be as easily enjoyable.
Lessons will be easy-going, very much working at your own pace. If there is something you'd like to make, I can provide tailored lessons to work towards your goal.
