EliseGerman tutoring by graduate university
University graduate in German language and literature (Master of Arts in German with specialization in Medieval Languages and Literature) with a solid experience gives private German lessons for all levels. Courses adapted according to the needs of the student. They aim to consolidate concepts, fill in gaps, prepare for exams (maturity, compulsory school leaving certificates, entrance exams to gyms, university, Goethe Zertifikat up to C1) and / or learn about language. For school supports: It is above all a work on the long term. Therefore, any exercise is explained in detail, which can make its execution slower: the quality is priority to the quantity in order to obtain an optimal result in the long term. Students bring their own course material (notebooks, books, audio CDs, dictionaries, assessments, etc.). It is important to note that my presence and explanations alone are insufficient to obtain satisfactory results. That's why I take the time to "learn to learn" effectively. For conversation classes: Topics are based on interests and / or specific needs for exam preparation. I give special importance to pronunciation, fluency and vocabulary. I usually correct at the end of a conversation exercise with detailed feedback, this to avoid blocking and work on fluidity. Depending on the level of the students and / or their expectations (preparation exams / assessments / desire for improvement for example), I work on the choice of appropriate words, grammatical accuracy, the ability to formulate more or less complex sentences. For exam preparations: The courses offer to acquire solid tools to learn how to write, to comment on literary texts and a methodology to work on the oral comprehension. The student will have to bring his own booklet of exam preparations available in all bookstores. For the Gothe Institute examinations, the Cornlesen exam books are particularly suitable. The other alternative would be to download AND PRINT before the beginning of the course an examination copy of GOETHE INSTITUT available on the site of the institute itself. For the oral comprehension: work from visual audio views downloaded from the DEUTSCHE WELLE website, which offer various recordings adapted to all levels, with a very concrete approach. The student acquires long-term fluency not only in oral comprehension, but also enriches his basic vocabulary through exercises. I am also working on the oral tests of the Goethe Institute to familiarize with oral. For the work of the written expression: I begin by explaining in the first lesson some methodological tools to acquire writing skills. The student has the opportunity to start writing during the course or do a writing exercise on duty and give it to me to correct (send by email or at the beginning of the next lesson). The corrections are explained in detail. In addition, at the time of booking, the student can send me a draft copy before the lesson so that I can meet his needs even more quickly. Apart from my presence with the student, any course involves a preparation time before and after the lesson, especially for the work that I correct. My goal is to design an individualized course, so I take the time to write detailed comments on corrected work or tips to ensure maximum success for everyone. In addition, each student can contact me at any time outside the course by email if necessary. Feel free to contact me for more information.

ElodiePrivate lessons for German - English - French
The student informs me of the concepts he wishes to see or review in French, German and / or English; I adapt and agree to give him a course of the best possible quality, as well as to provide him with exercises and advice adapted to his needs. I have completed my Bachelor in Multilingual Communication (Faculty of Translation and Interpretation of the University of Geneva) and am available to help other students and to share my knowledge with them. I started learning German over 15 years ago and have also completed numerous language stays in Germany, including a semester as an au pair with daily language lessons and an Erasmus semester as part of of my Bachelor. Furthermore, I have been speaking German daily in my private life for over two years now. As for English, I started learning it over 10 years ago; I also did a semester in Liverpool with daily lessons in a language school and have continued to practice it ever since, both personally and at university. I have obtained an official certificate attesting to my level of German (telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule), as well as a certificate attesting to my level of English (Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English - C1). Regarding French, it is my mother tongue and I am improving it day by day, particularly as part of my training as a translator at the University of Geneva. Ps: During the lockdown linked to Covid-19, I continued to give online lessons (via Skype); these classes went very well and were just as effective as the in-person classes. Given the current circumstances and because I no longer live in Geneva, I offer online courses (via Skype and with the help of other IT tools). I look forward to helping you in your learning process and passing on my passion for languages to you through our meetings! We look forward to meeting you soon! Elodie

SerdaneDutch courses for high school / adult students
My name is Serdane and I offer Dutch courses to high school and adult students who have trouble developing a work method that suits them. Extrovert and bubbly ... and above all, a lot of humor! I think language learning is primarily about developing a suitable learning method. Some learn the languages intuitively by throwing themselves into the bath of conversation. Others, on the contrary, need to be exposed to the grammatical concepts in a rigorous way before starting the conversation. There are so many ways to learn that there are students ... That's why I adapt my courses to everyone's needs, and most importantly, I try to help students discover what works for them. him so that he can continue to progress independently. Having received a bilingual education and part of my schooling in Dutch, I have a perfect command of the language. After high school in Saint-Boniface, I did a double bilingual bachelor's degree (law) and economics at Saint-Louis University, then a law degree at UCL (completed in June 2018). including an Erasmus in German at the University of Vienna. This varied career allowed me to develop a solid working method. My areas of expertise: - Enhancement - catching up - Grammatical reviews - Conversation course - Method of work (organization, schedule of revisions, etc.) My price includes a complete tutoring (private lessons, the possibility to ask questions outside class hours, writing and correcting questions, etc.).
AndrésOnline course for German as a foreign language with all material included
In my one-to-one online courses, you will find a room just for yourself, where you will be coached within a German speaking setting. Each lesson depends on your needs and aims, which may be to improve in a specific linguistic feature as pronunciation, grammar, spelling or vocabulary. Or it may be to work on a specific goal, e.g. an official language exam, finding work in the German speaking countries or bureaucratic issues. Or it can just be conversation in order to gain fluency. In our class I will also point out what you can do during the week in order to further improve your German language skills and get closer to your goals and I will hand out to you the study material you need.
LiesbetDutch lesson for non-native speakers and (non-native) children
As non-native parents it is certainly not easy to teach your children Dutch or to help with the fluency of the new language. Who wants some extra exercise for his children? I can help you with that. As their vocabulary becomes more and more extensive and their sentences become increasingly fluid, your children will get more and more self-confidence. Good mastery of the Dutch language is certainly in their favor both now and later. Do your children need some help with their homework, especially with their Dutch, then I can help with that. Even as non-native-speaking adults, it is sometimes difficult to have enough exercise. That is why adults who want to make progress in speaking the Dutch language are welcome here! We can practice the everyday language together. Conversing is the best way to learn a new language.
CarinaLearn Dutch or Flemish language from a native speaker.
Cosy private lessons for everybody I try to make my online lessons as cosy as possible. I use the video-conference system, so I can see my students and they can see me; we can talk, we make the exercises together, I explain all the grammar, and if my students have any doubt or questions, I explain it orally which I think makes it easier to be understood. It is as if we were sitting in an office side by side. The only thing we cannot do is drinking a coffee while we study. Besides the lessons, I always send some homework. I will send a book that we follow, and the rest of the material is sent by me by e-mail as well. As soon as it is possible, I advise my students to start reading books in the language they learn, and from the very beginning to start listening to the TV. It is a way of being surrounded by the language. I always insist a lot on the accent, and this helps. I have students with a perfect accent. Listening to the language also helps to open the hears to the sounds, making easier to understand. From the very beginning I also start with small conversations in each lesson. You may believe that all my students are being very successful with this kind of lessons. I have now students from all over the world. Concerning the level my students attain, ofcourse it depends on them. Together we see what your needs are and how fast you want to learn. As for the number of lessons per week, I advise that you should have at least two. Less than two is very little and you have a long break between lessons. It is bad because you don't have any contact with the language and feel that you are advancing very slowly. We can also have lessons in the weekend if that is easier for you.
AdriaanDutch for all levels, for kids, teenagers and adults.
I teach Dutch to beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. I am from Rotterdam, so I am a Dutch native speaker. During the lessons I write all the information on a Google doc. After each session I assign homework for the next session. Between two sessions students can always ask me any question about the things we discussed in the lesson. I am bilingual Spanish/Dutch so I can use Spanish, English, but also German as a bridge language.
