I started giving private classes at home to children when I lived in Germany. During the 22-23 academic year I gave piano classes to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia). I studied the piano and other instruments for more than 15 years at the UGDA and at the Luxembourg City Conservatory of Music. After many years of music theory and piano I obtained the „Première Mention“ certificate from the Conservatory, with the qualification "Très Bien". A good music class should include not only reading scores, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational play with the instrument, listening and rhythmic exercises. Being also an ethnomusicologist, I like to work with repertoires from other horizons, both singing and accordion. I really recommend katja for your violin classes!!! She's a very good teacher. Katja has a rich background in music and is able to adapt the class according to the level of the student. Usha is a world-class violinist and violin teacher! I studied from a young age and through college at a relatively high level, but had to put it down for many years once I started working. Usha has helped me relearn the fundamentals with good habits and regain confidence as a performing artist.
