Anders - Paris$33

Customized private drum lessons for young and old. It doesn't matter whether you've been at it for a while or a real beginner. My goal is to make an action plan for every student that can take you to the next level, but also with the necessary dose of fun. I always do this in consultation with the students themselves (and/or parents) to ensure that the lessons match expectations. What can you contact me for? - Drum lesson - Drum lesson (for example as tutoring for percussionists of a marching band or drum band) - General music theory - Workshop tuning drums - Workshop Ableton Live - Workshop hybrid drums (acoustic + electronic) - Workshop at home recording (working with microphones, mixing desk, DAW etc.) - Shooting on assignment About me I am Danzel, 21 years old and a student at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (BE). A few years ago I started giving drum lessons at Sound Academy Maastricht (NL) and at various music camps. This is where I gained my teaching experience. I have always enjoyed it very much and have therefore decided to offer lessons myself. In my home studio I have created the ideal environment for fun and efficient drum lessons or to make recordings. The lessons take place in Eben-Emael, a village just across the Walloon border. It is located 5 minutes from the village of Kanne in the municipality of Riemst and 10 minutes from Maastricht (NL). However, the lessons are only given in Dutch or English and not in French. If due to circumstances no lessons can be given, this will be communicated in time or a switch will be made to online lessons. I am also available every day for questions from students or parents. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Trusted teacher: The moment of engagement between the performer and the listener it is the most intense feeling I’ve ever felt. It is a very unexpected moment, it just happens and there you are holding your instrument in front of people you are sharing your performance with. Suddenly everyone is waiting for you to continue the story you have been telling and everyone is just at the same time on the same place and you have what they need: a message they want to hear and they know you will share it with them. So once you do you reach that sensation, that moment, and what happens afterwards it is magic! It is absolutely wonderful how one, a hundred or even thousands of humans can be on hold for the same message and once it is delivered they just feel it the same exactly way as you do. This sensation is not only happening on a performance but also on a teaching situation. I’ve been teaching for some year from children to adults and I discovered that if you put all your energy all your love and passion and you give it all as a teacher or as a student you can reach this magical communication levels! Which makes a lesson such an experience! That is why as a teacher I am mostly focused on creativity and trough it the discoveries of your instrument always basing this process on your goals and ambitions which are the most important pillars of a musician!! I would be happy to teach you: PERCUSSION - For all levels and style, from classical percussion to world music. VIBRAPHONE - For all levels and style, mostly focused on jazz KEYBOARDS & PIANO -For beginners on classical music and all levels on jazz or any other modern style MUSIC PRODUCTION This are examples of what I am able and willing to share with students of any level and on any need: - The world of music production software (Ableton Live, Logic Pro,...) - How to record myself - How to compose music (pop, funk, jazz, latin, etc) by using a computer - How to create beat music - How to use a looper and other digital effects - Discovering the world of plug-ins and virtual instruments - What is music production and how to use it Shortly, I have never stopped studying since I was 8 years old, I’ve graduated on classical percussion on Jazz vibraphone and currently finishing my masters on how to play vibraphone and Keys at the same time. Trough this time i’ve being participating with classical orchestras ( Orquesta Gaos, Joven orquesta sinfonica de Galicia,...) on different percussion festivals as a player and as a teacher ( Perkulliria, FIP Agolada,...) and on many different style bands ( Skarallaos, GHASS, Fhree, Qando Vand,...). Currently working with MAMIHLAPINATAPAI a very personal world music project here in The Netherlands.

Trusted teacher: My name is Davide and my music experience started when I was 10 years old during my middle school in Italy. I started playing cello and I kept on studying classical music for 8 years, performing as a soloist and in many orchestras and ensembles. In the meanwhile, I started being interested in electronic music and composition for soundtracks. When I turned 17 I realized that music would have been my passion and my job. I graduated in “Contemporary Writing and Production” at Pescara Conservatory in Italy. During these studies, I dove deeper into Pop and Experimental Electronic Music, orchestration, and orchestral composition. I also had the opportunity to play in different bands and discover different genres such as Post Rock, Progressive Metal, and Heavy Metal. After my bachelor's degree, I finished my studies following a Master's program at Codarts (Rotterdam) in Creative Production. During those two years, I had the opportunity to collaborate with many people and explore different kinds of music (Turkish, Flamenco, Jazz, etc.). I wrote an Artistic Research about electronic unquantized music by analyzing the sound of producers such as Flume, Burial, and Arca. Now that my studies are finished I feel that I want to spread my knowledge and my passion to many people as possible. My class subjects are: - Music Production (from beginners to expert level, mainly Ableton Live and Pro Tools classes) - Cello Lessons (from beginners to intermediate level) - Music Theory (from beginners to expert level) - Composition and Orchestration (explore the world and joy of composing for an orchestra and how to use your DAW as a real symphonic orchestra). As a Producer, I want to let the student feel completely free to ask me whatever he/she wants. I have had many experiences as a producer and I know how to handle many different genres. My first teaching experience was at 17 years old and from that moment on I did not change my teaching set-up. I want the lesson to be an interactive moment in which the teacher and the student are sharing ideas and opinions. Feel free to apply for the lessons. I look forward to meeting you!

Cours de guitare sur-mesure pour tous les niveaux. (Paris)
Anders
Anders was able to assess my level and what I want to learn and adapted the lesson and material accordingly. It's easy to communicate with him and he has a lot of ideas to make it challenging enough to want to practise, but not too hard to follow. The experience was overall nice and enriching. The studio is well equipped and I liked the fact that he uses modern tools to send documents and tabs instead of paper. I definetly recommend.

Carlos
Carlos is a great teacher, he quickly grasps where you are in your journey and guides you to the next levels. His teaching style really lets you understand concepts and how they are connected. Other great things to mention are his vast experience and the exercises that really push your boundaries. Highly recommended!

Saverio
We met Saverio for the first lesson and had a lovely experience. He brought a good mix of both theory and practical techniques, and came out of the hour with a strong basic foundation of playing the guitar. More lessons will be needed!
