I am a part-time lecturer at COCC teaching Physics courses and tutoring within the community. I have experience teaching algebra and calculus based physics for 2 years, and have taught many lessons of algebra, trig, and calculus to my students as well during these classes. I graduated from UCSB with a BS in Physics in 2005 which continued into a Masters in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2007. I have scored extremely high on a number of math-based standardized tests (800 on GRE math, 800 on SAT II math, 740 on SAT I) and can also tutor to those tests. As a physicist I have taken a number of higher math courses as well as lower-level chemistry. I am well-qualified to teach Algebra II, Calculus, Differential Equations, Multi-variable Calculus, and introductory concepts to Linear Algebra and Probability.
