Hi, my name is Jeremy and I have a Masters in Physics with honours from the University of Leicester (featured as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths. Helping others understand difficult topics and skills is something that I am very passionate about as an empathetic person. I have experience teaching Physics and Maths to kids from unprivileged backgrounds at the homework school in Saint-Gilles (CASG du Service Social Juif asbl) as well as through 3 years of private teaching. In my classes, I aim to: - help students achieve better grades in exams/tests in all branches of Physics & Maths - clearly explain and break down topics - give context and or example applications of topics (to improve understanding and memorisation) - help with ADHD & other learning disabilities - give practical advice for university applications (eg. Having obtained my Engineering degree in June 2018 and currently working as a Software Engineer in an IT company, I want to share my knowledge acquired during my studies with people of all ages in the Brussels region. My goal is to help my students approach the subject from a different angle so that they feel more comfortable and confident. I have facilitated workshops and given classes throughout my career all over the world. English pronunciation is essential these days because English is spoken everywhere and all the time. I followed specialized training such as the verb tonal method, Feldenkrais or mental coaching. We are therefore going to work in a slightly different way by combining articulatory techniques, movement, rhythm, intonation, warming up of the jaw and tongue, stretching of the neck, neck and shoulders to arrive to very fast results.

This is why, as far as possible, the lessons will be given IN English, in order to train both your ear and to push you to answer/think in English. A large part of the learning will go through the oral practice of the language: you will be invited to express yourself on various subjects that interest you. I am a civil engineer in construction and during my career, I made a specialization in chemistry, physics. I give lessons in everything related to science: math, physics, chemistry... I have been teaching in Belgium and even in England since 2015. Generally I ask the student to give me the material he wants to work on and the best thing is for him to prepare his questions so that we can move forward faster instead of being blocked and at the risk of reviewing parts that he has already understood. (Although I once had a class where I completely re-explained the teacher's syllabus.) I also ask to become familiar with the material and nothing is better for that than doing a lot of exercises.
