A really good flute teacher who sets interesting challenges to motivate practising the flute every day and independently. She also has plenty of up-to-date ideas combining different material sources (including digitals! top notch teacher with IT!) according to my needs and interests. She teaches me a lot of very useful tips for my level and I can hear a clear difference from a lesson to another. Yet, no miracle either: you must practice! But with the right instructions, she can help you pass obstacles you may have thought they were impossible to overcome. And playing the flute becomes a mere pleasure and joyful challenge! Besides, she never allows you to rest in your comfortable zone! There are always plenty of interesting and useful things to learn with great pleasure rather than with pain and stress! Thank you so much Malvina! Looking forward to our future lessons!
Malvina is an excellent teacher: she is adorable, perfectly competent and always optimistic! I took up the flute again in January with her to subsequently obtain a music therapist diploma and she immediately responded to my request by giving me lots of useful advice, even at the end of the cycle. She is flexible on course dates and this allows work to be organized efficiently. I of course recommend it. She also organizes lots of things for the students among themselves such as concerts, masterclasses, festivals... Where we have the pleasure of hearing her play too!

I started to play the flute again after a long absence and Malvina was the perfect person to help me find my level back and to improve it even more in a very short space of time. After just a few lessons, I improved my tone and with Malvina's strong encouragement I am progressing every lesson. Malvina has a deep knowledge of the flute, flute playing as well as flute repertoire and hearing her play is very inspiring. I would highly recommend taking lessons with Malvina.
Malvina is an enjoyable, competent and inspiring teacher, who improves the joy of music playing with helpful suggestions, useful insights, technical advice and her high quality play. She is also very flexible, well organized and cooperative. Together with her long experience and beautiful sound, she is a highly recommended teacher.
Malwina is an excellent teacher! She gives very good technical advice, she has a lot of ideas of nice things to play, and her enthusiasm for the flute is communicative. I warmly recommend to learn with her!! Thank you very much! :)

FLUTE LESSONS in BRUSSELS with Malvina - "Brussels Flute Studio" --- Private flute classes with a committed, enthusiastic and responsible professionally trained pedagogue with Teaching Diplomas, Master of Arts in Music and many years of professional experience /flute playing and teaching is my profession, not an extra job/. Those students and parents who found me at Apprentus left me beautiful recommendations that I really recommend reading below. Lessons can take place at my "Brussels Flute Studio" at Parc des Princes, Auderghem area. Metro 5 - Herrmann-Debroux, tram 8 - Tenreuken, bus 41-Transvaal. There is also possibility of lessons at student home or online. For each student I propose personalised method and individual approach. I am teaching how to play flute, piccolo and alto flute. Classes are in English, French or Polish. Beginner, Intermediate, advance level; Young (+6) and older - all welcome. My students play in duos, trios, quartets and in the flute orchestra; at least few times a year students play concert, go to competitions, attend workshops, Flute Festivals & masterclasses (for school year 2023/2024 minimum 6 events are planned); I am experienced in preparing for ABRSM exams; my students pass ABRSM exams with merits and distinctions! All the students need their own instrument. I help to find and buy an instrument, repair it or resell it. I am really sorry, but I stopped lending flutes because of my bad experience. If you are interested, please contact me for more details.

Flute lessons for beginners and intermediates in mainly classical or jazz music and Saxophone lessons for beginners
Graduated in classical flute at the Academy, student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in jazz flute. The student-teacher relationship is very important in my opinion in whatever subject. Being passionate about music, I intend to transmit this passion to my students by allowing them to explore their own voice and individual creativity. Expressing yourself musically requires a lot of technique and know-how, but everyone is capable of it with a little willpower! I mainly teach classical or jazz transverse flute. the saxophone I only teach beginners and only jazz.

Eva

Hello, My name is Eva, and I am a flutist and flute and recorder teacher from Slovakia, currently based in Brussels. I offer one-on-one private lessons for adults and kids from the age of 6. I studied flute performance and pedagogy at The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (Slovakia), The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus (Denmark), and I participated in numerous masterclasses with flutists such as Sharon Bezaly, András Adorján, Ulla Miilmann, etc. I am trained in all styles of classical music, but I am particularly interested in contemporary music. My teaching specialty is using extended flute techniques to help my students discover their best sound more easily and have more fun while learning to play. With over 8 years of teaching experience in music schools and private settings, I am able to fully customize my teaching methods to meet my students' specific needs. I have successfully taught individuals with visual impairments and various learning disabilities.

TURKISH REED FLUTE, NEY, NAY LESSONS FOR ALL LOVERS
Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

Cathy
Flute and Piccolo lessons by Cathy Tsang's Flute Studio
Cathy started her music teaching career in 2015, and has been teaching students from beginner to grade 8, aged from 6 to 35 years old. She always welcomes students who wish to explore more about music, building up playing the flute as their hobby, as well as growing together with them as their role models. She feels very glad and blessed to be the teacher of her students, as well as being their sister, witnessing their growth and becoming a good friend to them. In the lesson, she would always love to play studies, and exercise, as well as play flute pieces and duets together with the students. To broaden their horizons, she would love to share different music recordings, as well as discuss the music together during the lesson. Cathy believes that it is essential for students to step out of the classroom to learn music, rather than just playing the flute. During years of teaching, she has encountered students taking different examination grades. Cathy understands the importance of choosing the pieces for students, she would love to demonstrate pieces and discuss the preferences with the students together. As the mode of having examinations has varied these years, she has already adapted to preparing students for the exams under different situations. Gladly, most of her students could attain merit or even distinction under her tutelage.

Learn from a concert flautist with 30 years of teaching experience!
Transverse flute lessons from a qualified music teacher and concert flutist who has successfully taught more than 200 pupils and students for 30 years. The teaching material is always personalized and ranges from baroque and classical to jazz and improvisation. The lessons last approximately 65 minutes. As the lessons progress, the most important thing is that making music is fun while learning. Both beginners (who cannot yet read music) and professionals who also have a diploma are welcome. Newcomers who have already learned the instrument but haven't had it in their hands for several years are of course welcome. We also play together regularly - voluntarily, of course - to play beautiful chamber music such as duos, trios and quartets.

Laura
Flute and Music Theory tuition for students of all levels
I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.

Delia
FLUTE LESSONS in Spanish, Catalan or English for all ages
Hi! My name is Delia and I am a Spanish flutist currently living in The Netherlands. As a professional musician, I find great joy in spreading my love for music, imparting insights and instilling appreciation for this art. My desire to educate people of all ages and levels stems from a profound urge to share all the knowledge acquired through years of dedicated learning under remarkable flute teachers and fellow musicians. During my lessons, I approach music both technically and artistically. I concentrate on refining essential skills such as intonation, breath control, and different articulations, among others. My aim is to empower students to master their instruments, ensuring that they wield control rather than the opposite way and also, to imbue their musical expression with a personal touch. Hope to meet and see you really soon!

Cooper
Learn Music with Cooper: Sax, Flute, Clarinet, Bass Guitar, Harmonica
I teach saxophone, clarinet, flute, harmonica, and bass guitar online(virtually). I think it's very important from the beginning to find your individual voice on your instrument. Technique is important, but it will be taught simultaneously with artistic voice. One of the great things about music is being to express your version of yourself on your instrument. What's the point in learning scales if you can't play the song you want to play? From day one, we will focus on all aspects of learning, and of music, at the same time. I'm super patient and I love to teach, and I'll cater my teaching style to the individual student. I look forward to teaching you! About me: I started playing music when I was I ten. I was awarded a partial scholarship to the University of Idaho's Lionel Hampton School of Music where I majored in Classical Saxophone Performance, where I won the Outstanding Jazz Soloist award (2004). I then received a partial scholarship to the Berklee College of Music and studied there with a principal instrument of saxophone, and graduated with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production in 2009. I've spent the last ten years performing full-time, on cruise ships (Carnival, Princess, Holland-America, Celebrity, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, The World), land tours (iLa Mawana national tour), theatre productions (For The Record: The Brat Pack, Broadway's After Midnight), and independent bands (Samsaya Trio, Vivian Clement Quartet). My performing experience has taken me to 70 countries and all seven continents. I've self-recorded and self- produced multiple albums. I've been featured as an arranger in many settings, including Robert McFletcher's LOVE. I have three of my own shows (A Public Saxophone and other Bedtime Stories, Just Sax, and CBSAXLIVE). While I studied saxophone as my primary instrument, I also play flute, clarinet, harmonica and bass guitar at a professional level. My degree is in composition and recording/production, so I would love to help anyone getting started in that area. I also teach music theory for those interested in learning theory.

Flute, recorder (individual) or music theory lessons (individual or groups)
I am a music teacher by profession and have had experience teaching flute, piano, recorder as well as subject music (including theory, music history and music in film study) at a prestigious high school in South Africa. I received my BMus degree at the Nelson Mandela University in the Eastern Cape and received tutelage from Dr Erica Bothma and Dr Erna Cloete. I can teach flute and recorder up to an advanced level, and piano from beginner to a grade 5 level. I am also able to teach music theory up to a grade 5 level. I can provide both structured lessons with the goal to play/write an exam, or provide lessons just to learn for the pleasure of playing an instrument. Each pupil will be treated for their individual needs and desires. I can offer my lessons in English and/or Afrikaans. Unfortunately I do not have a piano in my home yet. I have always had a love for music and have wanted to share that love with the world. I look forward to hearing from you!
