I graduated from Conservatorium Maastricht in 2022, where I had the opportunity to study with Maestro Igor Roma, and Maestro Jeroen Riemsdijk. Throughout my studies I also gained a comprehensive knowledge of music theory, harmony, counterpoint, ear-training, musical forms and music history. I have extensive competition and performance experience with a varied repertoire, from Baroque to Neo-Classical period. I can help you prepare for an upcoming competition, recital or entrance exam. My teaching methods are adaptive to the student's specific needs, so that we can work on improving them. We will work on improving sight-reading, memorisation and basic improvisation. I work with my students to develop their sense of musical phrasing, engage my students in discussions about the music we are playing and more importantly the composer's intent. For specific piano techniques we can work on finger strength, arm-weight, precise control in dynamics and articulation, clarity in fast playing, releasing tension from the body. In addition to my Bachelors Degree, I have a minor in Pedagogical methods and skills, and have obtained a Teaching Certificate from Conservatorium Maastricht. Während meines Studiums hatte ich einige Privatschüler, mit denen ich die Klänge der Flöte und verschiedene Genres (Klassik, Pop, Jazz, Volksmusik, Improvisation usw.) erkundet habe. Mein Unterricht ist entspannt und kommunikativ, voll von gemeinsamem Musizieren. Der Unterricht kann auch online stattfinden. I started acoustic guitar lessons from zero and I have learned so much with Sergio, he is an excellent teacher, very knowledgeable and patient, he also encourage you to keep practicing to achieve your goals while providing you with very useful material to do it. I really recommend Sergio as a music teacher, he plays a lot of instruments. Excelente profesor, yo empecé clases de guitarra acústica desde cero y he aprendido mucho con Sergio, sabe mucho y es muy paciente, además te anima a seguir practicando para que alcances tus metas y te provee muy buen material para lograrlo.
