Without ever having taken music lessons, I moved somewhat nervously towards Matthias. This turned out to be unnecessary. Within the first minutes I was reassured and there appeared to be a pleasant atmosphere. Mathias made a calm and positive impression on me. He has an eye for what is already going well and provides tips/practice opportunities for what is still difficult. Even when I made a mistake for the umpteenth time, he put me at ease. As a beginner, I didn't have to play the same piece endlessly. He immediately added variety, which made the hour fly by. This first lesson was a "make it or break it" moment for me. In Matthias I have found a very experienced, pleasant teacher. I am very motivated to continue working with him. Highly recommended.
