Bertalan has a Masters of Music degree, and has a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. He has been teaching piano lessons since 2012. An emerging contemporary music artist's musical style combines free jazz, film music, and world music sonorities. He is a composer of several short films, including one chosen as the best animated short film of the Manchester Film Festival. Bertalan also works with university students and directors from the Budapest Metropolitan University, HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, DSK Supinfocom International Campus, and collaborates with visual artists such as the Light Up Collective and Beeldjutters focusing on audio visual projection art. Performed improvised piano on many prominent concert stages from Budapest to the Netherlands, and plays in several jazz bands and improvised music ensembles. He composes for games, movies, theatre, and is interested in exploring any platform for creating music and developing exciting ideas. I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels.
