I was principal flute at the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Warsaw (Poland) and have over 45 years of experience teaching repertoire, solo, chamber music and orchestra. Over the years I have developed my method of Conscious Flute Playing, which has allowed me and my students to make the flute sing as we wish. Thanks to this we can learn music theory passively as we go through the pieces. There is also the opportunity to participate in student concerts in Brussels twice a year (December and June). My name is Juliette, a young professional violinist who obtained my master's degree at the Brussels Conservatory in 2018 in the class of Shirly Laub. With my experience, I offer violin and music theory lessons. I have been teaching the violin for 10 years, while continuing my activity as a substitute at the National Orchestra of Belgium and at the Brussels Philharmonic. In Portugal I started also a Master in Education and I have a lot of experience teaching because I used to do it in Portugal. I had students from 3 to 25 years old, so I'm prepared for any level! This class is for beginners who love the violin and want to learn more about it and how to play it, or for advanced students that need some help to develop their technique. With all of the information available in books, magazines and online it is very hard to sort through everything and know what is the best place to start. I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. I am offering Pop, Jazz, Classical singing classes for all levels and ages - basically whoever wants to initiate, improve, or perfect their vocal technique is welcome. Recently he graduated master degree in Brussels Conservatorium studying with prof. Boyan Vodenitcharov. Since he has a lot of knowledge of harmonization and counterpoints, he has composed and arranged many works and played many of his own pieces in concerts. Asako will give the cello lessons. She has master degree, cello performance and chamber music, also has an academic university diploma for Musicology. She studied in Japan, Hungary (Franz Liszt Academy), Norway (Norway Academy of Music), and Netherlands (Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Utrecht Conservatoire).She can teach in Japanese, English and on a basic level in Hungarian and French. Asako can teach the cello for all levels and ages. Especially She is enthusiastic about teaching.
