Trusted teacher: English and Dutch in particular and languages in general are my passion and I am passionate to inspire others to improve their language skills. I have got the NT2 diploma and I can teach Dutch to expats and foreigners. I come from Vietnam and I would like also to teach Vietnamese to people who want to learn and to know more about Vietnamese language and culture. Furthermore, I am able to deliver math lessons to primary children who need extra help. If you want to do the theoretical driving exam in the Netherlands, I can help you to prepare for it as well. Some quotes that I like "Do you know what a foreign accent is? It’s a sign of bravery." – Amy Chua" 'A different language is a different vision of life." – Federico Fellini "Learn everything you can, anytime you can, from anyone you can; there will always come a time when you will be grateful you did." – Sarah Caldwell Qualities that I would like to see in my students: commitment and practice. - Learning a language is like learning a musical instrument. “Commitment is way more important than natural talent" - Learning a language is like running a marathon. “You don’t wake up one day and think: ‘Dude, I’m totally going to run the marathon of Los Angeles today.’ No, running a marathon or any significant distance requires practice and a healthy lifestyle.” My qualifications: - Pre-master of English language and culture, Radboud University, Nijmegen - Master of English Teaching at University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi - Master of Development Studies, University of Melbourne, Australia - NT2 (Dutch as a second languag programme II) diploma My work experience - English lessons to secondary students in the Netherlands for 1 year - English lessons to individuals and classes for about 10 years - English-Vietnamese translation and interpretation for different INGOs for 7 years - Math lessons to primary pupils for 4 years.

Trusted teacher: ***** Availability update made on 09/01/2020. Valid until further notice ***** I offer you my services in order to make you truly effective orally / in writing in English. If you have to use English in the course of your professional activity and you don't get comfortable with it ... If you are tired of being spotted immediately as French ... If you don't know still not when to use the present perfect / preterite .... I'm here to help you and make you progress. * Linguist by training and author of school textbook in this capacity. Note that I am not this young student who had a good mark in the Baccalaureate or this other who is supposedly bilingual. I have been teaching as a teacher in the National Education since 1995 and I can tell you that teaching cannot be improvised. It is not an activity that we do "like that". I offer you my expertise and my experience. By the way, to have 10/20 in the Baccalaureate, it is enough to have the A2 level (which is theoretically expected at the end of 3rd year) so I let you imagine the desperation of future engineers who must obtain at least 750 in the TOEIC! (the equivalent of level B2!) * Daily monitoring possible via internet. * Each course is prepared according to your needs. Feedback is always given. * Specialized in "phonology": intonation, word accent, connections ... Oral grammar. * Adaptation to all levels: from college to post-baccalaureate through high school. => Post-bac: preparation for TOEIC, TOEFL, iELTS, Cambridge First-Certificate, Advanced Certificate. => Orals and writings from grandes écoles such as ENA => Orals and writings from business schools (Tremplin-Passerelle ...) Please do not hesitate to contact me for further details.

Trusted teacher: Singing lessons (lessons for children below): Graduate of the Brussels Conservatory in jazz singing (Master), I sing professionally and am pedagogue for 20 years now. I offer private lessons and semi-singing in Watermael-Boitsfort (corner of the broom). Classes are directed to the desires and demands of the student. Here is what I propose ... Voice technique: through vocalizations and other fun exercises, learn to use your body and your voice in an effective and healthy way. Directory (or not): chosen by the student and the teacher. My preference goes to jazz and all its branches and roots (bossa, brazilian, blues, gospel, polyphony, ...) because it's for me the best training but I'm open and I sing myself (almost) every other styles ;-) Improvisation: the best for the end :-) listening exercise, creativity, self-expression, voice and musicality. Through very progressive and clear exercises, we will explore (if the pupil desires) vocal improvisation. Music lessons for children (from 1 year to + -6-7 years old): Animation of 30 min or 45 min (depending on age) with the same structure that remains, the songs change. Song or rhythmic activity to say hello Gesture song (fine psychomotricity) Songs with maracas eggs (keep a pulse, manipulate the eggs, work on coordination) Presentation of a musical instrument Song to be accompanied by children of different percussion instruments Song to move or dance Pre music theory or recognition exercise of noises or instruments (depends on age) Song to say goodbye

Trusted teacher: French private lessons are for students wishing: - consolidate their bases in grammar, spelling - improve their language skills (allophone students) - improve their speaking skills (conversation classes) -profect the written expression - ECR exams - prepare for the written examinations at the end of the studies (maturity, certificate of completion) - help with the writing of works of maturity (or other works of end of studies), of dissertation - work on argumentative texts - acquire a method to analyze literary texts - fill gaps - improve their spelling - prepare for oral exams (maturity, compulsory leaving certificates) - learn how to perform bibliographic research For help with writing: The objective is above all to acquire effective tools. The pupil will thus be able to learn to structure his ideas, to argue in a coherent (and convincing) way and to enrich his vocabulary. For the corrections of end of studies work: so that the meeting with the student is at the most profitable, I ask him to send me his writings before the meeting. Apart from my presence with the student, any course involves a preparation time before and after the lesson, including the work that I correct. My goal is to design an individualized course, so I take the time to write detailed comments on corrected work or tips to ensure maximum success for everyone. For example, an editorial correction can easily be the subject of a detailed commentary of 4 typewritten pages. For adults (FLE): In order to optimally prepare the first ones, I take the initiative to inform myself in advance of their objectives / expectations. Whether to practice speaking in everyday life, the professional world or to practice oral presentations, I prepare either PPT or technical sheets in advance that I send by mail ( after booking on the website). The other alternative is to make a PV of the course that I send (or that I print). Giving importance to keeping a written record on the one hand to better memorize the topics covered, on the other hand to better assimilate the spelling. Of a general nature, a concrete situation that responds to the learner's needs is the starting point. From this situation, I address the essential grammatical points.

French tutoring for everyone with a native speaker ! (Maastricht)
Anaïs
I've been putting off this review because I was afraid my review wouldn't be good enough to tell how great Anais is as a teacher! I've been taking lessons with her for more than 6 months now and my French has improved a lot since then. Before that I used to have classroom lessons that were "okay", but now I really feel that I'm making much more progress. Anais is a lovely person and her dynamic to teach is great, the time flies during the lessons. Totally recommend her!

Singing lessons by teacher with Master / 20 years of experience (Watermael-Boitsfort)
Elena
I have already learned so much useful exercices in only two lessons with Elena that I can barely keep up my own workout on the side between courses! It is dense lessons where you learn many things in a methodic way, and yet she still manages to get me to relax in no more than 5 minutes, even after a tough day of work. She has a cheerful and gentle personnality, I'm making progress, and it's strictly good times!

Classical Arabic or dialectal course (Syro-Lebanese) (Geneva)
Nadim
Nadim is very approachable and knowledgeable ,very reliable and always on time, the classes I had so far were very comforting and “custom made”. He makes sure to come back with all the explanations and is willing to provide extra material for the class. His experience in giving math and French classes is helping a lot . I would surely recommend him to anybody who is willing to learn Arabic from the scratch.
