Hello i’m Massimiliano, a professional musician and composer from Italy living in Rotterdam since six years. I play clarinet and saxophone and I graduated from Codarts Rotterdam three years ago! I love to share my passion for music with my students and currently i am teaching at home and also doing workshops for small kids around the city! I teach music at any level: Beginner : with me you can start playing the clarinet or the saxophone step by step even if you didn’t have any previous musical education Intermediate: if you already know how to play we can learn new music and progress in your knowledge of the instrument, learning jazz, pop or other music genres. Advanced: i can help you to achieve your goals as professional musician, to pass the audition for a conservatory or for a professional job position!

We will find your needs together and start working from that point. You can come with no experience at all and I will help you to explore and develop your voice. It's also not important if you cannot read music, I can help you with that as well. If you are already a singer, we will work in order to refine your technique. Voice, breathing, and posture are connected and fundamental for a healthy technique so we will also work on that while we focus on your voice. I am an italian bass player, I'm 25 years old and actually I am finishing the last year of my bachelor in jazz music at Codarts. If you're a beginner i will teach you the basics of the instrument and the basics of musical theory (wich is essential to be a good bass player). We will also dive into various musical genres, trying to have a complete approach to music as possible. If you already play bass and want to improve your skills or your knowledge of musical theory i will teach you some advanced techniques and focus on advanced harmony and studies for improvisation. We will also work on finding your own voice on the instrument and learning how to create original basslines

Voice is an instrument we carry inside us in our every day life and discovering its possibilities connects us deeper to ourselves. In the vocal classes we will work intensively on understanding our voice with vocal and body exercises. Vocal classes focus on performance coaching and stress relief connected to vocal technique. As every voice is unique we will start a journey discovering the voice from the beginning, focusing on the special needs and aesthetics each student has. Vocal classes include as well repertoire and style coaching: Together we can work on East Mediterranean Repertoire(Greek folk and traditional, rebetiko, turkish) as well as other traditions and styles and languages(world music, modern repertoire).

Hello! My name is Yorgos, i am an experienced teacher, guitar player and graduate bachelor student of Koninklijk conservatorium (Den Haag) living in Rotterdam. I would be happy to help you out with learning your favourite song on the guitar, improvise, expand your music theory knowledge or exploring your favourite kind of music style on the guitar (Funk, Rock, Jazz, Blues etc). Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. The theory of everything tends to be really scary and music theory can be too. I am very keen to make music theory easy for everyone. For some people there is only one way to tackle the unmentionable but I believe there are many different approaches and one of them will click with you. It is simply finding out what is best for each person. Once we find the key we can unlock the problems that have puzzled you for ages. Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing.
