About Me

I'm a Rnb, Soul, Pop, Jazz singer and pianist originally from Italy currently living in the Netherlands. I was born in Switzerland to a Swiss father and a German mother but I grew up in the south of Italy.

Though interested in music since childhood, I pursued a professional course of study at the Sain Louis College of Music in Rome, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in jazz voice with minors in jazz piano, improvisation, jazz arrangement and classical harmony. During this time I spent one exchange semester of the academic year 2016/2017 at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig, Germany.

I have studied with some of Europe's best-known singers in Italy, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands. These are all countries I have been living in as well.

In 2017 I released my first album 'Love Through My Eyes' under my birth name Stefano and in 2020 my second album '#tellyourheart' with my stage name Stemin. You can find both albums on all major music streaming platforms.

I strongly believe that: "The voice is an all-powerful instrument, capable of expressing deep feelings that perhaps no other musical instrument can do. It is directly connected with the soul and becomes the audible expression of it. It converts the invisible into visible, creates new sounds and colors, transforms emotion into music. Very good teacher, patient and professional)
My first lesson with Stefano was amazing!! I had never taken singing lessons before, and he did everything to make me feel at ease and comfortable. He’s also super knowledgeable and has given me great pointers on how to improve my technique as well interpretation! On top of this, he’s allowing me to focus on the genres of music that I am passionate about and tailoring the lesson to that. Finally, he’s a warm, kind person which makes the lessons more enjoyable as well! Would absolutely recommend!
The best, my child is 5 years and he enjoyed the class with Stefano a lot !!
Singing has always been a passion of mine but I always did it alone and I never had the courage to sing in front of others or take singing lessons. After overcoming my fear, I booked some singing lessons with Stefano. Stefano provided useful vocal exercises to strengthen my voice, helpful tips on how to make my singing more colourful and dynamic and most importantly a safe space to express myself. He encouraged my to find my own voice and thereby helped me overcome my shyness. I learned how to use my voice better and that I can connect to my emotions through music. Overall, I would recommend booking some singing lesson with him if you are interested in finding our own voice and want to connect to your soul through singing.
Not just a singing teacher, but by the way also the best vocal coach you can get hold of at this moment and in this area of the Netherlands (so take your chance...;-)). For about 3 years I had a serious problem with my vocal chords (incomplete closure) and a dislocated larynx. I started to be in contact with Stefano by chance asking him to show me some (singing) exercises additionally to my treatment at the ENT-department of Martini Ziekenhuis Groningen as well as an ongoing therapy at a professional trained speech therapist. To cut a long story short: Within a couple of lessons and dedicated exercises he succeeded in re-positioning my larynx and got rid of my incomplete vocal cords closure, meanwhile the medical specialists had decided that the only cure could possibly be an operation... As a ‘side-effect’ I am now able to sing and control my voice like I have never been able before and could never have imagined that this was possible to achieve by just some simple but individually chosen exercises and practice. Grazie!

Singing for beginners and advanced ones (jazz, soul, r&b, pop)
Singing is a great way to express yourself in a most honest way. I teach how to find your own voice, how to understand music and how to improvise. Every lesson depends on the things the student wants to learn or get better at. I invite you to try my singing lessons and experience how music brightens your life.

Learn to Play Piano (Jazz, Accompanying, Songwriting, Music Theory)
Hello there, ever since I was a teenager I have always admired musicians in small and gigantic stages alike, and have wondered how such marvelous magic could possibly be created from their fingertips. If you are reading this, then maybe you feel the same way towards the piano as I do! I can offer myself to explore with you, with my experiences coming from jazz piano playing, how it works on the piano: basic playing skills, chords and how to voice them, playing solo lines, harmonic knowledge to write your own song, learning to read a lead sheet with only melody and chords, and so many more. Here are some of the goals that you and I can work together to make it happen: 1) Learn to play your favorite tunes on piano or electric piano 2) Learn to accompany yourself while you are singing 3) Learn to play in a band setting 4) Learn to write and play your own songs 5) Learn the keyboard skills for your home production gears (i.e. MIDI keyboard controllers) 6) Learn to improvise on the piano Now, a little bit about myself; the moment I decided that I should try for music came much later compared to my colleagues. I started very late, and thus had to come up with methods of teaching myself fast and efficiently. And I believe that my own experiences coming from the struggles I've had could be of help to you, to understand the task at the hand better and to come up with plans on how to handle them. Still, at the end of the day, progress by itself would be not our ultimate goal; it would be to have fun sitting in front of the piano! If you are interested, hit me up!

Saxophone, Clarinet, Piano and Music Theory classes taught by graduates in Music Performance
I am a graduate in Bachelor´s Jazz & Modern Music Performance at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain). I am offering physical and online lessons in Music Theory (harmony, composition, solfège ...), Improvisation and Instrument (Saxophone, Clarinet and Piano). Lessons are addressed to every student profile, regardless of age, level of expectations (no matter if it is seen as a hobby or rather if the individual is getting prepared for official Conservatory auditions, etc.). We will play and / or focus on what the student wants / needs to go deep in (whatever music style of his / her interest, more theoretical aspects or rather practical ones), trying to obtain the maximum profit from the employed time, and placing as our priority the actual learning of the person as the main factor for her / his motivation.

Learn to Play (Jazz) Saxophone! Highly-personalized lessons that focus on the student's individual progress
Hello fellow musician! Have you ever dreamed of becoming a saxophone player? Wheter you are trying to become a jazz improviser, or you have just started familiarizing with the instrument, I can teach you how to: - be able to produce a beutiful sound; - use music theory as a practical way to play correctly over changes; - maximize the outcome of your practice-time; - master the technique on your horn. As a student, I often found myself struggling with resolving a particular set of problems. I would often be confronted with higher-levelled players, wondering whether I would ever be able to express myself as they did through their music. Having been studying this music for many years, I experimented with a lot of different learning methods, only to find out that music improvisation is something that is mainly learned in a very personal, differentiated way. One of the most interesting things I experienced as an educator, when confronted with students who shared my own past insecurities, doubts, questions, and struggles, was getting to understand a part of the person in front of me; and to find a way in which they would finally be able to grasp and internalize a theoretical concept that could then enable them to formulate a more coherent musical idea. Even if every student is a unique individual, thus responding to different educational methods, I think that, over time, I was able to identify a red line around which I could create a method that can be beneficial to the majority of aspirational players. For the past few years, I have been giving private instrument lessons to jazz players with varied backgrounds and experience. My educative career consists of a traditional classical, MA in classical saxophone (Conservatorio G. B. Martini, Bologna), a BA in jazz saxophone (ibid.), and a BA in jazz saxophone called New York Jazz Bachelor at the Prins Claus Conservatorium Groningen which I am currently busy with.

Drum lessons by an experienced performer and teacher
Obtaining the knowledge of drumming trough personalised ways and exciting energy. You would be given a spectrum of knowledge - from basics to complicated stuff, from written out music to improvisation. We will cover technique and playing in different styles, but we will mainly work on firm control and give freedom to your own expression. Listening to examples of music we try to imitate and learning about them is an important part, so we will spend time on that too. I will also teach and provide you with reading material, meaning notes, organised in music pieces.

How to play saxophone and the art of improvisation Groningen
I think of me as social musician. I mostly like to play sharing music with others. My first priority goes to having an interesting/charming/ resonant full sound. Then i work on how to connect your inner ear ability so that u can play as simple as possible in a way that u can hear it before you are getting to play it on saxophone. But i am also teaching how to play simply in a way that makes enough sense through several understandings related to ways that improvised music have used before. I a mostly an alto player but i can teach to any other sort of saxophone like tenor ,soprano etc. My sound , technique and lessons are mostly coming from jazz music(blues, swing , mostly american music of 20s-60s) I assign homework after every lesson about the technique of the saxophone but also the possible tools of improvisation in music.

Singing lessons in Groningen from a professional Argentinian singer
I'm a professional singer teacher from Argentina, with over 12 years of teaching experience. Graduated at the University of Music of Buenos Aires. I worked giving singing lessons in cultural centers, schools of music and also in my own studio. At the same time during my career I had many musical projects of different styles like rock, pop, jazz, tango and brasilero. I also worked seven years as a singer in a state orchestra of popular music of Buenos Aires where we performed around the country of Argentina and we give music workshops as well. Knowing your own voice, seeing your potential, setting goals, working and achieving them generates a feeling of freedom and absolute happiness. That is why I invite all the people who want to discover this incredible instrument that we carry with us, and those who already sing to continue training and surpassing goals. The course lasts one hour, where we practice vocal technique and work on a repertoire of songs looking for the best, natural and confortable way of interpretation. I give you lessons in English, Spanish and Italian! I'm looking forward to working with you and to hearing you sing!

Singing lessons by teacher with Master / 20 years of experience
Singing lessons (lessons for children below): Graduate of the Brussels Conservatory in jazz singing (Master), I sing professionally and am pedagogue for 20 years now. I offer private lessons and semi-singing in Watermael-Boitsfort (corner of the broom). Classes are directed to the desires and demands of the student. Here is what I propose ... Voice technique: through vocalizations and other fun exercises, learn to use your body and your voice in an effective and healthy way. Directory (or not): chosen by the student and the teacher. My preference goes to jazz and all its branches and roots (bossa, brazilian, blues, gospel, polyphony, ...) because it's for me the best training but I'm open and I sing myself (almost) every other styles ;-) Improvisation: the best for the end :-) listening exercise, creativity, self-expression, voice and musicality. Through very progressive and clear exercises, we will explore (if the pupil desires) vocal improvisation. Music lessons for children (from 1 year to + -6-7 years old): Animation of 30 min or 45 min (depending on age) with the same structure that remains, the songs change. Song or rhythmic activity to say hello Gesture song (fine psychomotricity) Songs with maracas eggs (keep a pulse, manipulate the eggs, work on coordination) Presentation of a musical instrument Song to be accompanied by children of different percussion instruments Song to move or dance Pre music theory or recognition exercise of noises or instruments (depends on age) Song to say goodbye

SONGWRITING course with intensive and result-oriented methods
English Translation: contact me please SONGS generally consist of chord and text lines. But where does that information come from and how do you make something out of nothing? How do you make that one great hIT or how strongly does your new song affect your love? Well, that's called "inspiration processing" and how does that work? Well, I'll tell you that in my course. If you already play the guitar or piano, you are one step ahead. Your instrument is like a trampoline that offers you more options to go further and higher. Most 'songs' are born at the craziest moments. A good songwriter his / her antennas are always open :-) and for some it is a continuous activity. During my course I teach you through all sorts of tips and tricks (including: Travel Chord Duo Method - One Four Five and minor input - Key Word Designation and Relative Chord Progressions etc.) how you can achieve strong songs. For me it is a daily activity and I have been writing all my life for others and sometimes for myself. All in all I have sold more than a million copies worldwide as an author / composer / performer. Is that little or is that a lot? I do not know. It doesn't interest me that much anymore. I want to share my knowledge about how to write a song with motivated people who want to go further than just replaying others' songs. Whether they get stuck somewhere during composing and who are not afraid to seek advice. Music is a life flirt. There are only two types of music: good and bad ... Do you have a foundation of chords, do you want to know how to make a good song .....? Just book an hour to get started. That is the scan hour. Are we lying together and is there a click? If you book and I confirm, then you also know who I am and where I hide :-) Not satisfied after the first 'lesson'? Money Back. Danny

Classical singing and piano lessons for all levels and ages
Dear parents and students, I am a professional singer and pianist from Hong Kong, having more than 10 years of experience in music teaching. I graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor degree in music (with honors), Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with a Master degree in classical singing (with distinction) and also the Post-master degree in classical singing (with distinction). I am currently a professional opera singer working mainly in Germany with conductors and directors from houses and studios such as Theater Rudolstadt, Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Komische Oper Berlin and Royal Opera House. I am a holder of Licentiate Trinity College of London (LTCL) vocal and piano performance certificates, both with distinctions (97/100 for voice and 90/100 for piano). Besides, I am a holder of DipABRSM piano performance certificate and ABRSM Grade 8 music theory certificate with merit. I have been giving private singing and piano lessons to students ranging from 3 to 50 years of age. Very happily, all of them had obtained distinctions at their ABRSM exams, some of them also won first prize at competitions. However, I do not teach music because of this. Distinctions and prizes are bonuses, but most importantly, I hope my students can enjoy and understand music. For beginners, I focus very much on building basic techniques. Alongside with that, I spend a little time on every lesson for ear training, music theory, music history, sight-reading/sight-singing, music composition, instrumentation and conducting, depending on the interest of the student. For more advanced students, I teach more about musicality and presentation. I aim to provide all-round knowledge to my students so they will be well equipped for future development. For piano students who are at the beginning of their music journey, I use a lot of creative ways to teach basic knowledge such as rhythm and fingering. These creative ways include colorful presentation slides, arranging a tailor-made version of the songs they like and introducing fun games to keep them motivated. Each student will get something different because everyone is different. As an instructor of vocal masterclasses for choir students in Hong Kong, I see myself as the person who: -- opens the door of fundamental vocal techniques for the students; -- influences them to be confident; -- shows them the beauty of human voice and vocal music; -- teaches them to embrace the others without judgement. My way and attitude of teaching was proved to be successful with a lot of positive feedback. I tend to plan my classes in detail, and give notes to students every lesson. In this case, the students can follow the lessons easily and make the best out of their time. I do not make my students always say "yes" and "okay", I like to work with them and they are always welcome to tell me their needs. Since I grew up at one of the best English schools in Hong Kong (Belilios Public School) and I have a lot of English-speaking students, I can communicate in English very fluently without accent. Besides English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese are my mother tongues. I am also knowledgeable in German, French and Italian. I am confident that I will provide my students the best learning experience.

Rap welcome (I have more and more rappers / slammers, we do a lot of work on the flow, the implementation of breaths, rhythmic settings, intelligibility of the text etc.) all this is easily worked when you know how! Being also a singer-songwriter and pianist, I can help you develop your compositions, your songs, place the tonic accents where needed, teach you to accompany yourself on the piano itself :-) work on the interpretation of songs of course. Prepare your studio sessions (and / or accompany you there if necessary), your concerts, your rehearsals ... Give you the tips to avoid getting tired, and know how to repair your voice when you have strained too much, and especially learn to project your voice without hurting yourself, etc. In short, to provide you with solid and essential foundations for singing healthily (without hurting yourself!) And freely !! For distance learning courses (if you prefer, I have been doing it very fluently, especially for a year, and also with my students abroad), as long as you have a computer, go (or a smartphone)! In short I will tell you everything you need to know to free your voice! The difference between "vocal coaching" and "singing lessons" is that I take the singer, the actor, the actress, the rapper in the vocal state he / she enters, and I take it and take it where he / she wants to go, with the repertoire you choose, which can be yours (songwriter), or whatever you choose or I can help you choose according to your range and your musical tastes of course. I do "with" you, with what you are, with what you bring to me as "raw material"! There is always something to improve, whatever your level at the start! :) It can also be just a moment for you, just for the sake of singing better, whatever you want! Singing is life! Fluent English (with French accent ;-)
