ManuelPrivate lessons of Flamenco Guitar in Geneva and in Valais.
We work the techniques, rhythmic styles and harmony typical of flamenco. Once the pupil has acquired a certain mastery of the instrument, he can learn to accompany song and dance in order to complete his learning; let's say that the accompaniment of song and dance is what will allow the student to live a real experience of flamenco and thus feed on the ingredients necessary to learn and understand all the richness and complexity of this art. The accompaniment of the song: At first, we will study rhythmic formulas on precise chords, then in a second time, we will play these formulas with the singer (recorded on audio tracks). In order to make learning more lively, the student will be able to accompany the teacher who will sing certain styles and will be able to participate in monthly workshops to accompany song and dance with a singer, a dancer and other students. The student can also film during the lesson to be able to work at home more efficiently.

MatthiasGuitar and bass lessons (participant The Voice season 7)
Participating in The Voice season 7 in the team of Mika, and singer in the duo Uku & Lily, I have been teaching guitar for more than 10 years to students of all ages and levels. I like to work on a register oriented on the student's tastes to ensure his motivation, while giving him the best bases and technical elements necessary for his progress. I work on the practice of the instrument above all, with moments devoted to the development of the ear as well as a little musical theory. I teach the basics of music theory, and use tablatures (guitar reference system) for guitar and bass lessons. I spend a lot of time in the studio and unfortunately take few students, but I still have a few places left! I also teach in english!

ThomasGuitarist graduated from the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève gives guitar lessons at all levels in the Canton of Geneva
My name is Thomas and I am a young guitarist motivated and anxious to transmit my love of music, always with pleasure and good humor! Here is some information about my background: After obtaining my license in musicology from the University Lumière Lyon 2 and my DEM in classical guitar from the Conservatory of Lyon, I continued my studies at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève where I validated my master's degree in interpreter then, last year, a master's degree in pedagogy. I have been teaching for many years, the practice of teaching having always occupied a central place in my philosophy as a musician. I am as comfortable with perfect beginners wanting to discover the instrument as with confirmed students who would seek to prepare for the entrance exams to higher conservatories, universities and higher education centers. In addition to playing the guitar, I complete the lessons with notions of musical culture, a minimum of music theory, historical landmarks and funny anecdotes. The course of the course, being by nature personalized for each student, is not immutable. However, a standard one-hour course is usually organized like this: - Beginning of the course (discussion, tuning, warm-up ...) - Work of this week's track - Choice and deciphering of a new piece, presentation of the composer, explanations ... - End of the course (musical games etc ...)

FlorianGuitar lessons / concert performer and graduate teacher
Guitar teacher for almost 10 years and musician practicing various styles, I offer my students a very broad approach to the guitar based on my way of considering music. Thanks to my studies in classical music and my experience as a teacher at the conservatory of Vevey, I can accompany students from the beginnings to a confirmed level. I also propose to approach the guitar differently, in particular by making discover the improvisation, the composition, other styles of music like the jazz or the current musics, in order to open the musical horizon of my pupils. While giving the students technical and theoretical knowledge, I seek above all to help the students develop their own musical personality, so that they can flourish thanks to the guitar. Do not hesitate to contact me if you want more information and look forward to meeting you!
DanielFlamenco guitar for all
With 18 years of experience teaching guitar and more than 20 years in socio-cultural animation, I have also successfully led many courses in schools with recognized pedagogical qualities such as The Rudolf School Steiner and the Active School, or in Andalusian associations in Geneva, Friborg, Nyon and Martigny. I also accompany the dance lessons of various dancers (living in Switzerland, Spain and France) regularly or during workshops in Spain and Switzerland: Ana la China (CH), Antonio Perujo (CH), Maud la Manuela (CH), Naomi Guerrero (CH), Melissa Salcedo (CH), Octavia de la Vega (CH), Jose Candela (Grenada), La Tati (Madrid), Carmen Ledesma (Sevilla), Manuela Carpio (Jerez), Ana Maria Lopez (Jerez), Raimundo Benitez (Grenada), Manuel Guitieres (Monpellier). My stage experience alongside local and internationally renowned artists (Enrique Bermuda "el Piculabe", Matias Lopez "el Mati", Juanillorro, Sandra Santisteban, Ana Barba, Melchor Campos, Paloma Pradal, Manolo Carmona "El Huelebien", Yolanda Almodovar, Andres Gil, Maria Bertos or Juan Manuel Cortes, Marta Themo, Stéphane Montangero) in organizations ranging from local associations to international flamenco festivals (Geneva, Mont-de-Marsan), as well as my apprenticeship with various masters ( Jose Manuel Tudela, Domingo Rubichi, Manuel Losada "el Carbonero", Agustin de la Fuente, Jesus El Guardia, Daniel Manzanas, Enrique Bermudez) and the fact that I played other musical styles (blues, rock, Brazilian music) for 12 years before diving into the world of flamenco make me a versatile guitarist and listens to others. Lessons: Over time, I have developed a method that adapts to the needs and abilities of each student to guide them progressively and playfully towards a growing autonomy. Thus, the student is led on the way towards the accompaniment of singing, dancing and composition. The technical, theoretical and rhythmic baggage it needs is introduced in a personalized way so that this last one lives it the way most in agreement with its mode of learning. Flamenco being of oral tradition we will not normally use music theory for its learning but mainly listening and imitation (however, if necessary I can also explain some rhythmic or harmonic particularities using this language for those whose understanding go through this). In order for everyone to remember what they have learned in the current lesson, I systematically devote a brief moment of video or audio recording with a slow take that includes a synthesis of explanations and a real-time take. If the student does not have anything to film or record, I can do it with my phone and send the file to him by e-mail. The latter finds in this way at any time a summary of each course. For beginners guitarists, I propose a grip of the instrument With traditional ultra - simplified melodic and rhythmic motifs, the first technical bases are thus acquired by playing rather than under the constraint of tedious exercises (which I can also propose if the student feels the need). We will gradually expand them according to the progress of the student.
