About Me

I have a deep passion for helping students rebuild a healthy relationship with studying, by ensuring that they truly understand what is confusing them. Building my students' confidence is really important for me, as well and ensuring that they are comfortable enough to ask as many questions as they can. I have been tutoring for two years, and during this period, I learnt a lot about the importance of good teaching methods on students.

Aside from tutoring, I have a major passion for travel, language learning, photography.I am currently enrolled at the TU Delft, and entering my third year in my BSc in Applied Earth Science.

If you have any questions or would like to contact me to book a lesson, then i am more than happy to help :)

Reviews (1)

Dalia is an excellent and professional tutor with great knowledge of the subject.
I am willing to tutor high school or even younger students of all kinds that require help with any math or physics :) This includes basic addition /subtraction to percentages, decimals, and fractions. My strong points are high school mathematics and that included subjects like algebra, calculus etc.
High school calculus can indeed be very challenging, however, it can be easily tackled with a little help. I have done Calculus at high school and university level (Calculus 1 and 2 )and I have a very strong understanding of the subject. My teaching methods involve improving the confidence of my students and working hard to ensure that they understand the topic that is being taught to them. I am more than happy to answer your questions if you have any :)
I am open to teaching chemistry of all levels to high school students.I have done a British curriculum and obtained an A*( maximum grade obtainable) and so I have a strong understanding of chemistry and I am open to helping students currently struggling with it! :). I have also tutored this subject for 2 years now, and I am more than happy to help. I cover topics such as : Organic chemistry Physical Chemistry Analytical Chemistry Elements of the Periodic table Chemical Equilibria Redox reactions Bonding and structures Moles, and amount of substance Geological Chemistry
Geology is a subject I love so much and I even study it in university.I have experience tutoring geology for 1 year, and I even gained experience in tutoring geologic mapping and mineralogy. I have experience in doing fieldwork too so I have a great grasp of this subject.I am also currently mapping a 54 km^2 area in the South of France.I am happy to teach geology and can cover many topics such as : Layers of the Earth Folding and Faulting Volcanoes, Earthquakes Sedimentary rocks Parts of a coast Rivers, meanders, Oxbow lakes Types of carbonates Geological History of the world
I have done environmental management and geography in school and obtained excellent results. I’ve done my IGCSE for geography and obtained an A*, and I currently doing a Bsc in Applied Earth sciences at the TU Delft, in the Netherlands. I have a very good understanding of the field and I am nearing my third year. During my studies, I have covered many topics, such as remote sensing, geophysics, geology, and much more. I also have a considerable amount of knowledge of geography, weather, volcanoes and earthquakes, renewable energy, mining. During my class, I will assess my student's strengths and use those to congure an effective study plan, tailored to my student. I will ensure that my student builds study confidence and a new passion for this field, and will never end a class without making sure that they have no further questions :)
Highschool geography for students currently doing GCSEs.I currently study applied earth sciences at TU Delft so I have a strong knowledge on the subject .I did 8 International GCSES and received 7 a*s and one A.Geography has always sparked my interest because it’s something so useful to understand in our modern world

Reza
Tutor for Math, Physics, and Mechanical/Material Engineering courses
I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently I work as a post-doc researcher in aerospace Engineering faculty of TU Delft. I have ample experience in teaching all the courses related to Engineering such as mathematics (algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, and advanced engineering mathematics), Mechanical engineering courses (Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, etc), Physics (mechanics, electricity, light, waves, etc), CAD/CAM software (Autocad, Solidworks), and Mechanical design packages (ANSYS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, LS-DYNA). Not all the teachers are good at teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and informing the students about the importance of what they are learning. That is why mathematical based engineering courses (such as Statics or Strength of Materials) are mostly boring for the students. The other problem that many students have with courses with strong mathematical background is that their mathematical basis is weak and therefore they cannot follow the course. I usually try to start my course from the basics and therefore actively engage as many students as possible in the class (even the weak ones). I also usually try to inform the students about the importance of what they are learning in the class by giving them some examples. This makes them more inspired and interested into what they are learning. If you have extra questions before starting a class, don't hesitate to ask me :)

Mathematics, Physics and Test Prep Tutoring for all ages
I am offering my help in tutoring for a variety of curriculums including IGCSE, A-levels, SATs. My strength lies in my ability to tailor my teaching style and successfully convey concepts to students within a wide range of age and level. Mathematics might seem abstract and theoretical for many. My main goal is to help my student grasp an intuitive understanding of concepts and guide them to reach their potential.

Math and Further Math for students in IGCSE, AS and A level
Mathematics is a prominent subject in a students high school career, to excel in Mathematics you are required to understand many concepts and topics, my program allows the student to be entirely familiar with the required topics for the subject and homework is given to the student after every lesson to ensure that the student understands the concept. progress reports and examinations for the student is preformed every once in a while to ensure that the student is on the right track.

Martín
Maths & Physics for kids and middle school students.
Sciences can be challenging and abstract, but they have endless applications and help us to have a better understanding of the world we live in. As an Aerospace Engineer student, I understand how difficult they can be, and my personal goal is to make them enjoyable and understandable by using real-life examples that make students motivated about them. I believe that everyone can learn them without any special talent, just good work and precise guidelines can make everyone a master at it.

Almeric
IB Math & Physics [HL/SL] for international school students
I graduated from the IB programme myself in 2017, therefore I'm very much familiar with the problems that students face during IB Math & Physics. I'm currently studying Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft, and looking back, I realize that most of the problems I encountered during the IB would have been very easily solved with the help for a tutor, since my teachers didn't have the time to help me individually. As such, I'm here to help you with each of the different topics in Math & Physics, as well as providing some ideas for your IA, and also some advice about studying for the IB in general. I'm also available to help in-between lessons, for any questions about homework or practice exams that you may have, which I believe is actually the most valuable part of having a personal tutor.

Vimarsh
Private Tutor for Mathematics and Physics for students of all ages!
I am an Aerospace Graduate student, I specialize in tutoring math and physics for middle and high school students. My goal is to make the class very interactive an application-oriented which helps a student better understand the principles of physics and math.

Henry
Math, Physics and Chemistry for High School and University Level
Struggling with Physics and Math? I have been there as a student/tutor and I can give you some guidelines and tricks to overcome it and hopefully to even enjoy it. I am Environmental Engineer and Industrial Engineer, and I am doing my MSc in the IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft. Besides research, I have had experience as a tutor in my former University and also with High School students. I am passionate about teaching and my pedagogic focus is significative learning. That is to go beyond formulas and try to understand clearly and consciously the purpose of a particular topic. In a typical lesson we will start with basic concepts, then we will illustrate them with few examples, to later move to practical exercises (learn by doing) with increasing difficulty.

Hrishikesh

Mathematics courses (mainly) and support
Hello! I offer math lessons for various levels. Mainly for gymnasium / college or cycle students (but also for first semester Bachelor students (for example) or medical students, etc ...). I would also be happy to prepare a course on certain subjects if the student is interested and wants to tackle new subjects or branch of mathematics as far as possible (for mathematical culture or simply out of interest)! I prioritize reasoning in teaching, I think that doing without understanding is not very productive I can also provide support in physics. I hope to meet many students in need, and look forward to it! :) “It is with logic that we prove and with intuition that we find.” - Henri Poincaré. As for me, I graduated and am a math student. I am in Lausanne, but can travel to Geneva on weekends.
