A really good flute teacher who sets interesting challenges to motivate practising the flute every day and independently. She also has plenty of up-to-date ideas combining different material sources (including digitals! top notch teacher with IT!) according to my needs and interests. She teaches me a lot of very useful tips for my level and I can hear a clear difference from a lesson to another. Yet, no miracle either: you must practice! But with the right instructions, she can help you pass obstacles you may have thought they were impossible to overcome. And playing the flute becomes a mere pleasure and joyful challenge! Besides, she never allows you to rest in your comfortable zone! There are always plenty of interesting and useful things to learn with great pleasure rather than with pain and stress! Thank you so much Malvina! Looking forward to our future lessons!
I started to play the flute again after a long absence and Malvina was the perfect person to help me find my level back and to improve it even more in a very short space of time. After just a few lessons, I improved my tone and with Malvina's strong encouragement I am progressing every lesson. Malvina has a deep knowledge of the flute, flute playing as well as flute repertoire and hearing her play is very inspiring. I would highly recommend taking lessons with Malvina.
Malvina is an enjoyable, competent and inspiring teacher, who improves the joy of music playing with helpful suggestions, useful insights, technical advice and her high quality play. She is also very flexible, well organized and cooperative. Together with her long experience and beautiful sound, she is a highly recommended teacher.
Malwina is an excellent teacher! She gives very good technical advice, she has a lot of ideas of nice things to play, and her enthusiasm for the flute is communicative. I warmly recommend to learn with her!! Thank you very much! :)

FLUTE LESSONS in BRUSSELS with Malvina --- Private flute classes with a committed, enthusiastic and responsible professionally trained pedagogue with Teaching Diplomas, Master of Arts in Music and many years of professional experience. Those students and parents who found me at Apprentus left me beautiful recommendations that I really recommend reading below. Lessons can take place at my "Brussels Flute Studio", a few steps from station Petillon - metro 5, or tram 7, 25, or bus 34, 36. Etterbeek/Auderghem/Woluwe St Pierre, a few minutes from Montgomery, Schuman and ULB. There is also possibility of lessons at student home or online. For each student I propose personalized method and individual approach. I am teaching how to play flute, piccolo and alto flute. Classes are in English, French or Polish. Intermediate, advanced level; Young (+6) and older - all welcome. My students play in duos, trios, quartets and in the flute orchestra; at least twice a year students play concert, go to competitions, Flute Festivals & masterclasses; I am experienced in preparing for ABRSM exams; my students pass ABRSM exams with merits and distinctions! All the students need their own instrument. I help to find and buy an instrument, repair it or resell it. I am really sorry, but I stopped lending flutes because of my bad experience. If you are interested, please contact me for more details.

Learn the Art of Celtic Music on the Irish Flute
With me, you will have the opportunity to escape to "Celtic" country for a lesson There are several types of Irish flute: (Tin Whistle, Low Whistle, Irish Flute) I will make you discover the beauty of so-called "Celtic" music by explaining everything you need to know. * The basics of this instrument (positions, interviews, breath control, etc.) * The many Celtic Standards. Indeed, there are many more or less difficult songs, but nevertheless very melodious :) If you do not have a traditional Irish flute, during a first lesson, I will be able to guide you on which flute to buy. We will obviously take into consideration your different wishes So if you are ready to deepen your knowledge, I will be happy to teach you what I learned :) NB: If you have a Boehm type transverse flute (transverse flute used in Classical Music), it may take more time to familiarize yourself with Celtic Music. I mean by that that certain positions, certain fingerings will be more difficult to play because of the keys of the flute ... But don't worry, we will find a way to overcome this difficulty. :)

Laura
Flute and Music Theory tuition for students of all levels
I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.
