Math, Physics and Chemistry for High School and University Level

Struggling with Physics and Math? I have been there as a student/tutor and I can give you some guidelines and tricks to overcome it and hopefully to even enjoy it. I am Environmental Engineer and Industrial Engineer, and I am doing my MSc in the IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft. Besides research, I have had experience as a tutor in my former University and also with High School students.

I am passionate about teaching and my pedagogic focus is significative learning. That is to go beyond formulas and try to understand clearly and consciously the purpose of a particular topic. In a typical lesson we will start with basic concepts, then we will illustrate them with few examples, to later move to practical exercises (learn by doing) with increasing difficulty.

    Reza
Tutor for Math, Physics, and Mechanical/Material Engineering courses
I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently I work as a post-doc researcher in aerospace Engineering faculty of TU Delft. I have ample experience in teaching all the courses related to Engineering such as mathematics (algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, and advanced engineering mathematics), Mechanical engineering courses (Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, etc), Physics (mechanics, electricity, light, waves, etc), CAD/CAM software (Autocad, Solidworks), and Mechanical design packages (ANSYS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, LS-DYNA). Not all the teachers are good at teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and informing the students about the importance of what they are learning. That is why mathematical based engineering courses (such as Statics or Strength of Materials) are mostly boring for the students. The other problem that many students have with courses with strong mathematical background is that their mathematical basis is weak and therefore they cannot follow the course. I usually try to start my course from the basics and therefore actively engage as many students as possible in the class (even the weak ones). I also usually try to inform the students about the importance of what they are learning in the class by giving them some examples. This makes them more inspired and interested into what they are learning. If you have extra questions before starting a class, don't hesitate to ask me :)

Highschool and primary school physics and students doing GCSEs
I teach high school/primary or middle school physics to students of all ages.I have done my International GCSEs and received an A* in physics as well as an A* in my A levels. Physics is one of my strongest subjects as it is incredibly useful in understanding how the world around me functions.I ensure that my students develop a healthy relationship with the subject and work on building their confidence in the process. If you have any further questions don't hesitate to contact me or book a lesson :) I am happy to teach many topics including : Electricity and magnetism Mechanics Forces, and moments Waves and wave equations

    Amirhossein
Mathematics Tutoring in O-level and A-Level (CIE Degree)
I have started tutoring intensively since September 2013 in Malaysia and I specialize in tutoring math for O-Level and A-Level Cambridge (CIE) degrees. My goal is to motivate students to learn all fundamentals by heart in the first place and implement all gained knowledge in order to solve complex questions. Hence, various methods have been used to achieve this goal since I started tutoring and with the experience that I gained through the interaction with different students I was able to help them to achieve higher marks than their expectations.

    Zeyad
Mathematics, Physics and Test Prep Tutoring for all ages
I am offering my help in tutoring for a variety of curriculums including IGCSE, A-levels, SATs. My strength lies in my ability to tailor my teaching style and successfully convey concepts to students within a wide range of age and level. Mathematics might seem abstract and theoretical for many. My main goal is to help my student grasp an intuitive understanding of concepts and guide them to reach their potential.

    Almeric
IB Math & Physics [HL/SL] for international school students
I graduated from the IB programme myself in 2017, therefore I'm very much familiar with the problems that students face during IB Math & Physics. I'm currently studying Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft, and looking back, I realize that most of the problems I encountered during the IB would have been very easily solved with the help for a tutor, since my teachers didn't have the time to help me individually. As such, I'm here to help you with each of the different topics in Math & Physics, as well as providing some ideas for your IA, and also some advice about studying for the IB in general. I'm also available to help in-between lessons, for any questions about homework or practice exams that you may have, which I believe is actually the most valuable part of having a personal tutor.

    Lilien
Mathematics for High School ( IB, O-levels/IGCSE, A levels) Primary and Secondary School Students
I have experience tutoring mathematics for IB, IGCSE and A levels, as well as primary school students. I thoroughly enjoy teaching mathematics and strengthening my students' confidence in their skills. I believe with the right tools, resilience and enough practice, any student can become skilled in Maths and I am happy to guide my students to that point.

    Martín
Maths & Physics for kids and middle school students.
Sciences can be challenging and abstract, but they have endless applications and help us to have a better understanding of the world we live in. As an Aerospace Engineer student, I understand how difficult they can be, and my personal goal is to make them enjoyable and understandable by using real-life examples that make students motivated about them. I believe that everyone can learn them without any special talent, just good work and precise guidelines can make everyone a master at it.
