I'm looking for student's who not only want to learn a great technique for singing but whom also want to find and develop their own unique sound so they can express themselves through the art of song and tell a story. I am a trained singer- songwriter & professional musician with a BA (hons) in Composition. Originally from london I moved to Brussels to do my masters degree. I am a trained singing with a level of grade 8, I have also spent the last 6 years touring as a front women and also a backing singing with various artists around europe, including 1 top 10 artist. I understand that although it's great to have a strong technique it's also about letting go and having confidence in your ability so you can relax in the moment. I welcome students of all levels and all ages and teach a range of genres from Jazz to Rock. Alternatively I am happy to focus on technique if that is something you prefer to work on. These courses are intended for singers of levels, beginners to intermediates who wish to improve their vocal skills, as well as for people wishing to better control their voice and gain confidence in situations such as public speaking. The course is generally carried out in two parts: A first part devoted to vocal development and technique centered on three essential points: The agility, placement and connection of vocal registers. After a complete warm-up based on bodily and vocal exercises, I offer you technical exercises adapted to your needs and your level. My role is to give you the keys and directions to achieve your goals as quickly and with maximum pleasure. This part of the work is essential and should in no way constitute an obstacle to learning, which is why I listen to your desires and feelings to best adapt the technical work and make it a real daily ritual. A second part completely focused on interpretation. Let's not forget, the goal of this class is to sing! And the best key to progress and to sing what you like. If you play an instrument, I have guitars and pianos so that you can accompany yourself, otherwise, I would be happy to accompany you on the piano to sing the songs of your choice. We try to work on different songs to make learning as fun as possible! I can also help you write and perform your own songs if you are composing!

I am a professional guitarist and singer/songwriter, born in Athens, Greece and currently residing in Utrecht, the Netherlands. In academia, I have completed Bachelor Jazz & Pop Guitar studies in HKU Utrechts Conservatorium and studied with various teachers around the world, deepening my knowledge in music. In professional life I have performed and toured with various musicians in Europe and Asia, I have taught individual students of all levels and ages, hosted group lessons and lectured seminars of modern and folk music across Europe. I feature a variety of musical styles in my repertoire as a performer with wide live and studio experience, as well as an ability to handle plenty of string instruments, including the bass, ukulele, mandolin, greek bouzouk, as well as the fundamentals in drums, piano and percussion.

I've been playing the piano with great passion for 18 years, and over the past 5 years, alongside my studies and music-making endeavors, I've been teaching multiple students ranging from 7 to 50 years old. My expertise lies in truly understanding music theory and composing and improvising music. Having played in many pop and jazz (big) bands and creating daily compositions for solo piano and bands, I've developed an enthusiasm for these genres that I love to impart to my students. In recent years, I've also been heavily involved in music production, and lessons in this direction are also possible! I often use theory as a background to contextualize the songs we practice (which are often chosen by the student themselves). I use these songs to convey improvisation and composition skills. I am a fully qualified primary school teacher based in Falkirk with over 15 years of experience particularly in the upper primary level. If your child needs additional input in English or Maths to help them reinforce their classroom learning or if they are looking to extend themselves to work at Third Level in preparation for High School or Entrance Exams, then I am here to help. After our initial ‘get to know you’ session, I will build a program of learning that will support your child in all identified areas, helping them to feel more confident with concepts or skills they have found tricky to master as well as challenge them to reach their full potential moving towards higher level learning. With every student that identifies this as an area for development, my focus is on building a strong foundation in maths reinforcing key concepts, using key problem-solving strategies as well as developing critical thinking skills. Through the use of real-world, tangible examples, I will help students develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and how they can be applied in their own lives. This work will be followed up with targeted areas for further practice, consolidation and/or additional challenge. During my writing sessions, I will guide students in developing their practical writing skills, i.e. grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, and organisation of points/plot. Whilst encouraging creativity throughout, I will ensure there are multiple opportunities for students to express themselves through various writing genres. We will also work on editing and reviewing with feedback sessions built in to help consolidate the techniques introduced. I strongly believe that reading is the key to unlocking a whole world of knowledge and imagination. In my reading sessions, I will focus on developing essential skills such as phonics, fluency, comprehension, and vocab. Through a variety of activities, including reading aloud, guided reading, discussion and analysis, I will help students improve their reading abilities, expand their literary horizons, and hopefully, foster a lifelong love for books. The course is centered on Systems Theory and Elinor Ostrom's Situational Action Theory. The purpose is to inform pupils of the work of Niklas Luhmann, the XX-century German sociologist of law, who has written a new perspective on relationships among social actors and the surrounding environment. The course is furthered through the brilliant asset constituted by Ostrom's theory, demonstrating that everyday life and RWG (real-world games) have the chance to show reality as they are interwoven with cognition and behavioral decision-making. We will explore the fundamentals of probability laws together, with a cut on unprepared responses to unexpected events.
