OscarYoung passionate musician teaches music theory and music theory for beginners.
- Do you want to get into music but have little or no theoretical basis? - Do you take music training courses but have difficulties? - Would you like to receive personalized help from a young passionate musician? Often regarded as a tedious task, music theory is in reality to music what grammar is to language. It is a tool, a code that allows us to understand how our language works. With words or with notes, it's the same! That is why it is important to learn music theory in a pragmatic way, keeping in mind that it is there to help us understand different musical languages, not at all to impose strict rules on us. Indeed, it would be unthinkable to learn the grammar of a language without ever seeing its interest in current and usual practice! About me: As a 24-year-old pianist / drummer / composer / sound engineer / electronic producer / DJ, I offer you help to learn music theory and music theory, both in harmony and rhythm. Currently a sound student at INSAS, I studied musicology at ULB, and I practice music on a daily basis, whether as a pianist (improvisation, composition, learning jazz and classical pieces) or as as an electronic musician and sound engineer. Some info on my musical journey: - currently in 7th year of piano (Etterbeek academy) - currently in 2 year at the jazz ensemble of the Etterbeek academy - 7 years of private drums lessons + Brazilian percussion lessons (batucada) in parallel - 4 years of musical training in academy (successful) - 3 years of writing and musical analysis courses in academy - composition in MAO (computer-assisted music) for 6 years (mainly hip-hop) which led me to concerts, sessions with musicians and rappers, etc. - Solo DJ as well as for 3 different projects, hip-hop and slam - recording and mixing as a sound engineer within the framework of my study and outside: recording and mixing of rappers, musicians, various sounds, etc. The lesson: According to your desires and / or your needs, I can suggest that you orient the course towards different facets of music theory. Whether it is harmony, rhythm, analysis or sight reading; Whether your goal is knowledge, composition, improvisation or the practice of an instrument, I adapt to you! The first course is generally dedicated to assessing the level of knowledge and know-how of the pupil, and to establishing together a draft program for the following courses. The idea is to move forward at your own pace, in a good mood! This course is primarily intended for beginners in music. EmmaViolin lessons in Brussels for children and adults, all levels
I am a Dutch violinist, and since 2013 I have been giving violin lessons, mainly to children and young people, at all levels. I work with methods and repertoire that match the age and level of the student. Because I am a classically trained musician myself, my focus in repertoire is more on classical music. A special interest of mine goes to teaching children of preschool age. My method for this age has an auditory approach: based on what we can hear and sing, we learn to play and eventually write and read. My experience is that in this way hearing is directly developed and also the understanding of musical notation is better nurtured. Lessons can be given in Dutch or English.

SaraPiano lessons given by concert pianist with four postgraduate diplomas
Being naturally very skilled in sight-reading of music scores, I've realized numerous times how helpful and enjoyable can be to posses that "gift". Now, after many years of experience in teaching at different levels and aspirations of students, I can surely say that, despite their different ambitions in playing piano, all of them were very keen in learning how to be better in reading completely new and unknown music to them. Currently, I'm developing an approach which could efficiently help one in understanding better the composition seen for the first time, through "scanning" analysis and use of logical patterns while getting to know basis of classical harmony. I'm a concert pianist with rich performing experience on worldwide stages, 1st prize winner of more then 30 international piano competitions in Europe and USA, holding Master degree, as well as two different Postgraduate degrees and two different Concert musician diplomas in special program for gifted concert artists at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
