SolidWorks Associate and Professional Certification (CSWA & CSWP) Prep Courses in English

Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software is used in nearly all branches of Design Engineering, it represents a powerful tool to create, and represent 2D and 3D models in a user-friendly interface. SolidWorks is currently used by over 165,000 engineering companies worldwide (as of 2013). With the rise of Youtube, learning to use these packages is easier than ever, however, certifications are what make a company believe that you really know what you are doing. During my bachelors I took a class specifically dedicated to training for the CSWA and CSWP. At the end I got perfect scores in both. My goal is to pass on the strategies and tricks I was taught to ensure that once you make the economic investment to take this exam, you will pass with flying colors.

About Me

I have always been fascinated by the idea of sharing the knowledge that I have worked so hard to amass. I always try to teach my students that in both languages and mathematics, the only key is practice, practice, practice. I was born and raised in Venezuela. Four years ago I moved to the US to pursue higher education. During these years I worked as a Teaching Assistant for classes such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, Physics I and II. Additionally, I worked as a private tutor for SAT and GRE prep courses for a year and a half and a year, respectively. Depending on your level of knowledge and expected goal, my focus will shift from elucidating concepts to allow you to see what is happening, to lots of problems to get familiar with the material. Over the years I have come up with strategies and techniques to efficiently tackle these science classes, and I am looking forward to sharing them with you.
To give you an idea of my mastery of this content, I got a perfect score in the Quantitative Reasoning section of the GRE six months ago.

Education

Experience / Qualifications

1) Worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Calculus I, II, III, Linear Algebra, Physics I, and Physics II. (2 years)
3) Private tutor for SAT and GRE prep courses (1 and a half years)

I worked as a private tutor for over a year in the United States helping teenagers and young adults with their preparation for the GRE. During this time I came up with strategies and tricks that I believe can significantly facilitate the way you approach this exam, after all, you must keep in mind that this test is not measuring your knowledge or intelligence per se. It is rather measuring your ability to prepare for this particular exam. Being a Mechanical Engineering Major with an English Minor and an experienced tutor, I believe to have the qualifications to help you with both the Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning sections. Be prepared to practice and memorize words, tell me what you want to work on and let's give it a go
When I first took the TOEFL (six years ago), I knew enough English to watch a movie without subtitles andg get most of what was happening and to engage in very simple small talk. I got 108 that time. A prep course I did for the TOEFL taught me that this exam is more about knowing the exam than about the English itself. The predictability of these standardized tests is your biggest weapon. After having moved to the US and having lived there for four years, I can safely say that my level of English is exponentially better than it was when I took the TOEFL. The classes would basically consist of non-stop practice of the different test sections. The goal is for you to show up on the exam date knowing everything that is coming and having the confidence that you can answer it.
Did you know that there are 20 Hispanic-speaking countries in the world? There is way more to this beautiful language than what is spoken in Spain. Son Venezuelan parents, I want to give you the chance to experience this language with different eyes, to hear different accents (you get to choose between Venezuelan, Colombian, and Argentinian), and learn a bit from different cultures, thus helping to broaden your horizons. I am an ELE certified Spanish teacher and regardless of the accents, we are here to improve your Spanish. This class is aimed at anyone looking to increase their Spanish-speaking and listening skills. Depending on the student's interests, the focus will shift from vocabulary expansion and sentence structuring to "accent" reduction. My goal is to be a talking partner with whom you can engage in significant conversations about any topic you are interested in. Whether you are getting ready for a trip or a presentation or if you just want to make sure you do not forget what you already know, practice makes perfect and I want to try to help you achieve your goals. I will pay attention whenever you are speaking and point out the mistakes (or "funny-sounding" phrases) in a polite manner after you finish speaking. That way I will not cut you off or discourage you from not being afraid of making mistakes (which we all make).

Blender 3.x, by Linkedin learning trusted instructor.
Whether you are a beginner, a designer or just curious to learn, go for it. Being self-taught is great to start with, but I learned that you also develop bad habits very easily. As a trainer, I'll give you access to Blender 3.x essentials training so we can focus on honing your skills in private lessons. My methodology is simple, it wants to be accessible and adapted to the learner, that's the whole point of a private course. Let's explore Blender 3.x together through an introductory or advanced course.

Mechanics, Physics, Thermodynamics: Higher education - private lessons.
Need help with mechanics, physics or thermodynamics? As a civil engineer, 30, I am happy to help you! Learn at your pace and with many examples to clarify the subject matter. I have years of experience in learning simple and complex subject matter. The lessons run as follows. First, we look together for the student's biggest stumbling blocks. These can be related to the subject matter as well as to the study method. From there, I work at the pace of the student and encourage them to ask as many questions as possible. I also give tips and tricks, and improve their working methods where necessary. During the lesson I give many examples to make the subject matter more interesting and we solve exercises together. Once practiced from the lesson, I mastered challenging exercises to also test the deeper understanding of the subject matter. In this way I try to optimally prepare the student for his/her exam test. However, learning should also be enjoyable. That is why I always strive for a bond with the student through a spontaneous and positive approach. I am also very patient. All this to solve and improve the problems. Are you interested? Don't hesitate to receive me! Please come! Tim
