I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training, I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory classes for 6 years because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

Enthusiastic guitar tutor and performer. I started playing classical guitar at the age of 6, and my formal musical education began at the age of 9 when I started attending a music school in Croatia. After 6 years of primary school, I continued studying classical guitar at a secondary music school in Varazdin, Croatia. During that period I received training in classical harmony, Counterpoint (polyphony), Solfeggio, Music history and gained plenty of experience in orchestral playing and choral singing. I decided to continue my musical education in Manchester where I was studying for an undergraduate degree at the Royal Northern College of Music and currently I am studying at the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague. As a performing guitarist, I have successfully participated and won prizes in a number of international competitions in the UK, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Hercegovina. Although my studies are primarily related to classical music, I am comfortable playing and performing music in a range of other styles and genres. I am also experienced with mandolin and Croatian folk instrument called tamburitza.

I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory. I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time! I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing. My lessons include warmups, technique, working on pieces of various repertoire, playing in duo with me, and more. For music theory, I like to come up with playful exercises of my own according to the student's needs and level. Horns are so fun !! Discover new instruments, sounds, techniques, and styles.

The class is for: - beginners who want to start their journey in music - intermediary musicians who wish to improve their skills - for highly educated musicians who want to perfect their knowledge. The class includes songwriting skills in POP, ROCK, JAZZ and many other styles of popular music as well as compositional skills in writing CLASSICAL, FILM, THEATER music. I specialize in both popular music and classical music. The class includes both theoretic knowledge and its practical application with students instrument of choice. The class also includes skills in guitar, piano and percussion playing.

Learning to read musical notes and get to know music in a fun way. This lesson is determined by the need and age group of the student - from musical games and music appreciation and beginner note reading and music-making, to dealing with musical material and musical analysis. I am a composer of music (classical, acoustic and electronic) who deal with music in many shapes and forms. I hold a Master degree in Composition from the Royal Conservatory The Hague. I love teaching and I have taught everything from ensemble playing for toddlers who do not read notes, to music theory, analysis and music philosophy to undergrad university students.

Highly dedicated and passionate teacher. Age does not matter when it comes to learning, just enjoying it. Lessons for beginners to more advanced students. Always trying to keep a creative environment where the students can express themselves in all aspects. I believe that it is necessary to be constant. The ideal would be one hour or hour and a half a week, but that depends on the student availability. I would provide a personal adaptation. I like playing games, singing and coming up to most creative solutions for learning fast inside of a save space for questions and imagination of the student. It is very important to motivate the students regarding to their music tastes. I consider myself an involved and motivated musician. I am constantly trying to learn new styles and enjoy so much doing it. At the moment I am studying my second bachelor degree in music, specifically in Early Music. I am very flexible with schedules for lessons so coming to a common point should not be very difficult.

During my Bachelor's training in Classical Horn I have trained in different educational skills techniques as well as in teaching ensembles and basic conducting. In addition to horn classes, I can also teach music theory and basic piano skills. I am very flexible with lesson times, so reaching a common point shouldn't be too difficult.

I am a student at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in the Early Music department, the beautiful and special instrument Harpsichord is my main subject and my passion. I am offering harpsichord, piano and solfège, lessons, on top of music theory for beginners and intermediate levels at home and also online. Teacher at Strijkdomain (The Hague), Conservatory in The Hague, Vuurvlinderschool, Geldelandschool en a Het Klooster (Woerden). I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making. I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. I base my teaching method on Suzuki and Galamian methods, which I combine with a wide repertoire of progressive violin pieces. Come and have a lesson with me!

I am currently further specializing at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I am extremely passionate about music and love to pass that passion on. No prior knowledge of music is required. Music has always been my biggest passion and I really enjoy sharing it with other people. My main music genres are pop, rnb, ballades, a bit of jazz, and soul. I can read musical notes, but I mainly play by ear (which can be learned too!). I am into music theory and how it helps to understand what one hears and plays. When it comes to singing, I know some basic techniques and can help with pitch, harmonizing, control, and feeling comfortable/confident when singing. My name is Carla Peña and I come from Barcelona. Since I was a child, music has played an important role in my life. I started learning music when I was 4 years old and cello when at the age of 6. I discovered my love for music and that is what I share with my students. I have around 15 pupils of all levels and ages and I teach at my own studio (De Constant Rebecquestraat 3) or at your place! If you are in The Hague area and you want to learn the cello or improve your playing, you are welcome to do lessons with me! FIRST LESSON: The first lesson consists of getting to know each other. This is essential to choose the best teaching approach. All the students are unique, that is why I always choose the method that adapts better to your needs. Then, we elaborate a personal plan, depending on your level, expectations, practice time, and taste. TECHNIQUE: Learning the proper technique of the instrument is very important to avoid injuries and to be able to express ourselves and perform our musical ideas in a successful way. That is why we learn nice songs in different styles, depending on your taste (from classical to jazz, film music, pop, etc.) and we combine it with cello method books with progressive exercises to improve the cello knowledge. In the case of young beginners, we also play cello games during the lesson to make the learning experience dynamic and fun! Children can lose attention and get bored very quickly! Playing together is an essential part of enjoying music. Therefore, the last part of the lesson always consists of playing cello duets and having fun! ABOUT ME: I studied my Bachelor in Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona, with professor Amparo Lacruz. Then, I decided to continue my studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the class of Michel Strauss and Jan-Ype Nota. During my studies in The Hague, I did a teaching internship at the Royal Conservatory as a part of their Minor in Music Education. I also taught in several Music Schools during my studies in Spain. Currently, I teach private students in The Hague and I created a cultural center in The Hague called Pandora Studio. I play regularly in two chamber music ensembles: Trio Jakob and Azalaïs Quartet.

About Harmony Course: Students learn principles of linear harmonic continuity and guide tone lines; minor key harmony; subdominant minor; blues theory and chord progressions. Students also learn melodic rhythm, form, and melody/harmony relationship. - Stylistic Composition Courses - About Counterpoint Course: We will explore the mechanics of basic contrapuntal technique, focusing on the horizontal aspects of composition; in other words, how melodies interact with one another. The course begins with writing a simple melodic line that works with an existing melody. About Fugue Course: A fugue is a multi-voice musical form that hinges on counterpoint between voices. The pupil will compose fugues for a single instrument (most notably a piano or other keyboard instrument), or they can write them for several individual players.
