Approaching from a true native's perspective, I instruct and assist with both educational and business English in a multi-faceted nature covering a wide range of areas including comprehension, conversation, grammar, and situational skills, in addition to working on general language skills and accent training. I have spent my entire childhood and adult life in the United States before completing a master's degree in Political Science and European Politics at KU Leuven. Additionally, I also possess Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and History. I have an extensive knowledge and experience of English grammar and literature, as well as current and past working experience in journalism (Anti-Competition Law and European Policy at the Policy and Regulatory Report) and both European and American politics. I also handle correction of text, editing, proofreading and ghostwriting, with weekly and monthly rates possible. My transportation costs are included.

I have facilitated workshops and given classes throughout my career all over the world. English pronunciation is essential these days because English is spoken everywhere and all the time. I followed specialized training such as the verb tonal method, Feldenkrais or mental coaching. We are therefore going to work in a slightly different way by combining articulatory techniques, movement, rhythm, intonation, warming up of the jaw and tongue, stretching of the neck, neck and shoulders to arrive to very fast results.

I am a qualified English teacher from England. I obtained my bachelor's degree in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK) and will soon have my master's degree. I have been teaching English for over 3 years to students who wish to improve their English language skills or become bilingual. All my students are satisfied with my course and those who had entrance exams have passed successfully. There is nothing like having English lessons with a qualified English speaker ;-) I have done all my studies in English and in the United Kingdom, I consider English as being my first language among all the other ones I have learned. Being a "native" speaker for me is meaningless, the qualifications are the most important as well as the experience (you could have a "native" speaker who makes a lot of mistakes because this person is not qualified in teaching). The price of the lessons is moderate compared to the effectiveness of my courses. I use a variety of methods and can easily adapt to the needs of the student. I offer courses at all levels (beginner, advanced to university level) as well as English courses for IELTS/TOEFL, A-LEVELS or correction of written works. I work with intermediate to advanced students (B1-C2), with most of my students interested in conversation/communication English (focusing on speaking and listening skills, and including improving vocabulary, fluency, pronunciation, and grammar), but I’m also happy to work with students on writing and reading. My teaching style is engaging, creative and friendly—I try to make every lesson an interesting and enjoyable one. But I’m also professional, prepared, organized, and reliable. I rarely use a textbook—some students enjoy primarily having conversation without other resources needed, but I also often use songs, videos, and texts of various kinds to provide a wide variety of topics, new vocabulary, varieties of listening practice, etc., and I also use varieties of ESL material from various internet sources as well.

Dutch is a Western Germanic language, descending from Low German dialects like Dutch. This course is intended to help the student of French secondary education. The level and the material is therefore adapted and equivalent to this level. I aim is to help the student improve his language skills in Dutch: additional explanation (grammar, sentence construction), support for homework and questions. This course is also intended for those who wish to learn this language for personal and / or professional reasons.

Having finished my secondary studies in the Latin-Sciences option, I now wish to help other students overcome the difficulties of French. I am proposing academic help for elementary or high school students. Whether it's for grammar, dictations, essays, or literary analysis, I'm here to help you improve your level. I offer additional exercises if necessary and summary sheets.
