I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels. As a pianist with 14 years of teaching experience and over 23 years of playing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the course of learning piano. If the student is interested in a more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions and for various competitions. Recently, my students have achieved the highest marks in the ABRSM exams as well as prizes in competitions. We also have a class concert for interested students twice per year. I am happy working in both a relaxed and serious approach, we simply need to discuss the objectives of the student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota and TCU-Fort Worth, TX, USA. My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist in orchestra (also as a harpist), and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio and look forward to meeting new students.

Graduated from the Paris Conservatory (diplôme supérieur d'exécution et diploma supérieur concertiste) with unanimity. Classical piano. Lessons of 1 hour per week. Together we make a plan to work towards something. This can be a concert or a competition. If I think the level is good enough, I may be able to program you to play in one of my professional concert series in the Netherlands. I was born in the Netherlands and currently live in Antwerp. At the moment I play about 50 concerts a year throughout Europe. I myself still follow classes with my teacher in Vienna, Paris or Barcelona. I myself am still preparing for major competitions, concerts and festivals. During my bachelor studies I also followed a minor in education. My teaching technique is very focused on achieving results as effectively as possible. My goal is to let the student enjoy his or her own game. We will bring out the best in you. With concrete exercises you will understand better and better how to study well at home. They are lessons you will remember for the rest of your life.

Master Ed gives tailor-made individual music lessons in a relaxed atmosphere. This can be done in his workspace in Antwerp or at your home if you live within a radius of 2 km from Antwerp Central Station. All levels and all ages are welcome, including absolute beginners! Master Ed is structured, but flexible: he personally guides you in your style (from rock to classical to improvisation) with the approach that suits you best. You don't have to come to class every week, or even on the same day.

Hello! I am Laura and I have a master's diploma in cello. One of my personal breakthroughs has been to build concentration through music, and I wonder if I can help you achieve the same through cello playing. Throughout my teaching experience, I have had both kids and adult beginners, cello as a second instrument, and already started teenagers who wanted to improve further their skills. In terms of my studies, this is my story: On the excitement of exploring music and cello, I've traveled and studied in various countries like the UK (one year and a half of my Bachelor's), the Netherlands (master in music), and France, where I currently receive lessons.

Depending on the student's goal, the level, teaching method and music styles are adjusted and personalized in consultation. Together we will look at what your learning needs are and which method suits you best. I am familiar with different styles for both harp and piano, from classical music (baroque, impressionism, classicism, romanticism and contemporary music), to folk music, jazz standards, pop songs or minimalist music. There is also the option to work from improvisations. The lessons are suitable for all ages and levels, the personal profile of the student is central.

I have taught piano for 4 years and I see it as the means to bring my experience with music directly to students. Therefore, my primary goal as a teacher is to make this experience enjoyable, enriching, and challenging. My lessons are organized depending on the level, needs, and objectives of the student. We can work on classic repertoire, pop, and movie soundtracks, or improvise. I love to share my passion for music with my students.

Hello everyone, my name is Camilo, I can from a little town from the south of Spain, and I was student of Royal Conservatory of Antwerp based on trombone. I studied my Bachelor and Master here, where I still live. I love to teach since few years ago I had some students for both trombone and music theory. I teach bass guitar which is my main instrument of 12 years, to all ages. I have experience mainly teaching it to beginners and intermediates. The classes are structured to cover basics of bass playing in terms of both technique and theory. One may expect to have exercises as weekly assignments. These exercises are weekly put together by me using a variety of bass method books. The weight of music theory, harmony and ear training within what we cover can be rearranged according to the needs and expectations of the student.
