Have you always dreamed:

of singing with freedom and resonance, with ease and flexibility?

of having a huge range and expressive power that makes people’s jaws drop?

I can help you free your voice and find your true sound through my holistic teaching approach.

I will help with any relaxation, placement, strain issues you may have and extend your range and give you resonance and power.

If you have any health issues that may affect your voice I can give you advice and guidance, special exercises , yoga routines etc - having suffered myself from GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease) and a resulting small vocal node in the past, and having dealt with various health issues - despite which I have managed to still work as a singer!

I can teach you to:

- Improvise and write songs.
- Develop your expression.
- Develop your technique without losing your own unique sound.
- Extend your range to at least 3 octaves (sometimes even 4!)
- Breath control and control of your entire range.
- Sing in a variety of techniques and styles- become a versatile singer!
- Basic guitar/keyboard skills if requested.

About Me

A versatile vocalist specialising in pop, rock, jazz, soul, alternative, trip hop , funk and blues as well as musical theatre and cross over genres, Olga has been a vocalist and violinist since she was 7 years old, participating over the years in classical, folk and rock choirs, opera ensembles, orchestras and musical theatre performances.

Olga has extensive experience as a session singer, as a songwriter and as a performer along with her experience as an ensemble/band leader and violinist. Furthermore she has trained in Popular Vocal Performance and Production at The London Centre of Contemporary Music in London where she was awarded a BMUS (Hons) and in Music Pedagogy at Middlesex University, London where she was awarded The Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Music.

Upon watching Olga perform one is instantly allured by her expressive vocal and the vulnerable yet tempestuous honesty with which she expresses the lyrics making each song her own.Having a 3 octave range and having received training in various styles of music along with years of experience, Olga can adapt to a variety of genres and sing in the original style of the piece, improvise or re-arrange a song into something completely new and unexpected.Olga also teaches small workshops (pop/rock bands and choirs) and works as a vocal coach on a one-to-one basis.

She has proven adept in helping people with vocal problems or vocal strain, having suffered from GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) and a resulting nodule herself in the past and having not only sung professionally and taught despite her vocal problems but also overcome them. The lessons focus on relaxing the throat, tongue, jaw and body, finding vocal freedom, resonance and power through mastering and understanding technique and breathing while also nourishing expression and diversity through studying a variety of styles and unlocking each individual's original voice, steering away from mimicking the original artist or karaoke type singing.

Olga believes that anyone can sing and that the key is to help her students get in touch with their true selves and with their honest expression. She often uses yoga and meditation techniques as well as some simple acting exercises in order to help her students "unlock" their emotions and unleash their voice.

Finally Olga also has substantial experience working with children and teenagers in a secondary music classroom and extra curricular activities (including choir, orchestra and rock band). She has helped teenagers find their voice and broaden their tastes to other styles of music, prepare for auditions and boost their creativity with songwriting lessons. She has even helped people acquire a sense of pitch and musicality from scratch.

After 10 years of training and working in the popular music scene, Olga has recently resumed her training in classical singing in order to expand her skills further.

I can only reccomend Olga. Individual and fun approach was exactly what I needed 🙂
The first lesson my daughter had with Olga went great. She was quickly at ease, connected and quickly into conversation.
She is a great teacher, very professional and a great person - after a while, I will get back to another lesson with Olga - best wishes....Soni
My first lesson was great. Olga is very instinctive - she started with some basic exercises and very quickly figured out where I needed to focus most and shaped the lesson accordingly. After one hour I had made more progress than in the last couple of decades.
I specialize in teaching children and adults. I make learning creative and fun and completely tailor made to each student's learning style and strengths. I place a strong emphasis on intuitive learning through speaking and reading and I let the grammar and vocabulary knowledge build naturally. I do follow textbooks when required but I also lesson plan around it, using the student's interests to make the class interesting.

Cheslava
Piano and Singing tutor with 5 years experience and professional education
From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

Federica
Jazz/Pop/Classical Piano/Voice and Music lessons for all ages
Hi, I'm Federica, I am Italian, and I am a Jazz Piano player and singer. I studied at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague. I'm doing my Master's at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I give Jazz/Pop/Classical Piano lessons but my main goal is to try to give the student a general understanding of the music to approach every style and to have fun with music! I love to work with children, I like to teach them good values like patience, self-confidence, trust, communication, and collaboration, all through music. That's what I learn every day by studying music and that's what I would like to transfer to my students. I've been told that If you have music in your life, you can't be a bad person. I believe in it. I offer live and online lessons: Piano Vocals Ear Training Technique Improvisation Repertoire Music Theory

Music lessons in Piano (up to Grade 8) or Singing (up to Grade 5)
Having had 15 years of piano lessons, one thing has been constant through the performances and exams I have taken - Enjoyment. This is a key aspect that the students enjoy playing the instrument and are motivated to keep on playing and learning new pieces or techniques. Piano has often in my life been my biggest hobby and an escape from other things going on, and this is something I hope to provide to anyone interested in learning this wonderful instrument. I am able to teach all abilities ranging from causal lessons up to Grade 8 standard for Piano. Having had 9 years of singing within Chapel, University and Scottish Choirs, I have been able to cover a wide range of repertoire and techniques on how to improve my singing style. During both school and university, Singing within choirs was my biggest extra-curricular, and I aim to teach lessons in a way that can encourage budding singers to grow in their confidence and ability. Singing is a social and enjoyable experience, and this is the key thing in lessons that students choose to learn songs and techniques they are keen to cover and feel engaged when improving their singing. I am able to teach all abilities ranging from causal lessons up to Grade 5 standard for Singing. I have both an ARSM Diploma and an ATCL Associate's Degree from ABRSM and Trinity College London, meaning I play up to Undergraduate standard. Combined with being a Graduate in Mathematics and Music, which has included opportunities to teach in my degree for Mathematics, means I have knowledge over how to ensure lessons remain engaging and students are kept motivated. I am a member of the University of Edinburgh's choir and NYCOS National Choir, while also having a Choral Scholarship at Church of the Sacred Heart and Old Saint Paul's Church. Involvement within these, along with past choirs such as the Fettes College Chapel Choir, has meant I am a strong singer and know how to get the best out of a singing lesson. Helping out with conducting across some of these choirs has given me experience of teaching Music, and alongside teaching Mathematics to primary schools, I can use these skills of being organised and having good communication to help make my lessons engaging.

Ziad
Oriental Arabic Oud and Singing Teacher in Mönchengladbach
Experienced Oud & Oriental singing teacher for over 8 years, Lebanese, currently residing in Mönchengladbach. I studied for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. I was a teacher at Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and also offered private lessons. Additionally, I served as a concertmaster in the oriental orchestra "Loubnan Assalam" for more than 5 years. My reason for relocating to Germany is to complete my studies at the University of Kamp Lintfort. I am fluent in English, Couramment en français, ولغتي الأم هي اللغة العربية. Unfortunately, I speak only a little German (Aber leider spreche ich ein bisschen Deutsch). My recommendation for learning the Oud is to begin by studying musical notes and notation before delving into songs. While some students prefer to jump straight into playing songs, understanding the fundamentals of music notation accelerates progress in the long run. Dedication and hard work can yield significant progress within a year, enabling you to play simple tunes. However, if you lack a passion for music or the instrument itself, I advise against pursuing it. As a friendly and passionate teacher, I derive joy from witnessing my students' progress and enjoy playing duets with them. While in-person meetings are preferable, I also offer online lessons for those unable to meet in person. Feel free to leave me a message, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
