PRIVATE Music Lessons: electric bass, improvisation, composition, music theory.

The class I propose as a private teacher cover the following subjects:

-Bass Guitar: we will cover elements such as technique (from basic to advanced), groove, timing, soloing, creating catchy basslines in different genres (Jazz, Pop, Rock, Funk, World Music, etc..)

-Improvisation: idiomatic (related to music-genre) and non-idiomatic

-Composition and Music theory: study of harmony, scales, melody, creative musical-writing.

All these subjects are interconnected in the lesson!

N.B. IMPROVISATION, COMPOSITION AND MUSIC THEORY ARE OPEN TO ALL INSTRUMENTALISTS!!

The first lesson with a new student is always an opportunity for the student to express what he likes about music. During the first lesson I usually propose my favorite music to the new student, and the the student does the same. The first lesson is the first approach in knowing each other, so that I can tailor a study programme that fits perfectly my student.
By developing the just-mentioned study programme I guarantee that practice is linked to pleasure, cuoriosity and discover! Regular practice is also ensured by giving the student exciting and challenging assignments, that at the same time are doable. In this way I guarantee both satisfaction and challenge.

About Me

I am a young professional musician willing to share the knowledge I gained. I really believe in teaching as a tool to make people enthusiastic about learning anything new. I strongly think that the best way to teach music is to start from what the student likes, and from that point building a flexible course based on improvement, entertainment and no pressure.

Education

Bachelor in Jazz performance (in Italy): in Italy I studied with musicians like Marco Vaggi, Mino Fabiano, Gabriele Comeglio, Franco Cerri and Enrico Intra

Master of Music (Jazz faculty) at Prince Claus Conservatorium in Groningen: here I studied with important Dutch artists (Marc Van Roon,Joris Teepe) and musicians coming from NY/USA (Rogerio Boccato, Helen Sung, Johannes Weidenmuller, Michael Mossman, Michael Moore, Gregory Hutchinson, Doug Weiss, etc...)

Learn to Play Piano (Jazz, Accompanying, Songwriting, Music Theory)
Hello there, ever since I was a teenager I have always admired musicians in small and gigantic stages alike, and have wondered how such marvelous magic could possibly be created from their fingertips. If you are reading this, then maybe you feel the same way towards the piano as I do! I can offer myself to explore with you, with my experiences coming from jazz piano playing, how it works on the piano: basic playing skills, chords and how to voice them, playing solo lines, harmonic knowledge to write your own song, learning to read a lead sheet with only melody and chords, and so many more. Here are some of the goals that you and I can work together to make it happen: 1) Learn to play your favorite tunes on piano or electric piano 2) Learn to accompany yourself while you are singing 3) Learn to play in a band setting 4) Learn to write and play your own songs 5) Learn the keyboard skills for your home production gears (i.e. MIDI keyboard controllers) 6) Learn to improvise on the piano Now, a little bit about myself; the moment I decided that I should try for music came much later compared to my colleagues. I started very late, and thus had to come up with methods of teaching myself fast and efficiently. And I believe that my own experiences coming from the struggles I've had could be of help to you, to understand the task at the hand better and to come up with plans on how to handle them. Still, at the end of the day, progress by itself would be not our ultimate goal; it would be to have fun sitting in front of the piano! If you are interested, hit me up!

Learn to Play (Jazz) Saxophone! Highly-personalized lessons that focus on the student's individual progress
Hello fellow musician! Have you ever dreamed of becoming a saxophone player? Wheter you are trying to become a jazz improviser, or you have just started familiarizing with the instrument, I can teach you how to: - be able to produce a beutiful sound; - use music theory as a practical way to play correctly over changes; - maximize the outcome of your practice-time; - master the technique on your horn. As a student, I often found myself struggling with resolving a particular set of problems. I would often be confronted with higher-levelled players, wondering whether I would ever be able to express myself as they did through their music. Having been studying this music for many years, I experimented with a lot of different learning methods, only to find out that music improvisation is something that is mainly learned in a very personal, differentiated way. One of the most interesting things I experienced as an educator, when confronted with students who shared my own past insecurities, doubts, questions, and struggles, was getting to understand a part of the person in front of me; and to find a way in which they would finally be able to grasp and internalize a theoretical concept that could then enable them to formulate a more coherent musical idea. Even if every student is a unique individual, thus responding to different educational methods, I think that, over time, I was able to identify a red line around which I could create a method that can be beneficial to the majority of aspirational players. For the past few years, I have been giving private instrument lessons to jazz players with varied backgrounds and experience. My educative career consists of a traditional classical, MA in classical saxophone (Conservatorio G. B. Martini, Bologna), a BA in jazz saxophone (ibid.), and a BA in jazz saxophone called New York Jazz Bachelor at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen, where I just started my Master.

Piano Lessons for beginners and intermediate. All styles and genres
Piano lessons for beginners and for those who would like to play as a hobby. I created a special program for students who want to play any kind of music (popular, jazz, classical), but can't spend a lot of time studying. You will learn how to read and play sheet music and chords. We cover the basics very fast so you will start playing your favorite songs right away. I also cover some theory that helps a better understanding of what you are playing. In this way the skills you get can then be used for playing other instruments, composing and songwriting.

Bass Guitar/Animation/Adobe After FX/Post Production/Video
Online (worldwide) Offline (Groningen) Bass and innovations, visual content, defi, web3, crypto, NFTs. My experience is connected with several companies (MU Interactive, Simple Frame, Lightcraft, and ModulorVR as I did video editing / mapping, VFX, SFX, 2d / 3d animations, motion graphics). For ModulorVR I worked completely remotely as well. I mainly work with After Effects (with Polish companies clients like MediaMarkt, Mediatech, ING etc), I studied Final Cut and Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere too) with my advertising school. Now I use Blender, Cinema 4d, p5.js or Processing too. According to Gallup's teamwork testing, my top 3 talents are: 1. Strategy 2. Input 3. Empathy. I also gained a lot of experience with other industries, I worked with small or large teams, now I also study Dutch, I improve my communication by working with people offline. Doing volunteer work for FITC (Future Innovation Technology Creativity), I personally met Beeple or Pak there. So naturally I got excited about NFTs, crypto or defi and now I'm even more obsessed with podcasts again. Before meeting Beeple or GMunk, I also listened to podcasts with them. And I studied art history to prepare for the future. I made my first movies when I was a teenager, my visual workflows started with compilations about football... And that's how I made my first money (when I was 15 years old) with our international collective for SportsMaxTV. (completely remote) With Polish visual companies I worked as a video editor / video mapper or motion designer, and now I live in the Netherlands, so I become more communicative and sporty. Always learning is really important to me. I am not afraid of new things, innovations and to work smarter or harder. Sincerely, FR (Philip)

Piano lessons. Classical music, improvisation and musical theory.
I offer lessons of piano playing to any person who wants to start with the instrument or want to improve their skills. i have worked with kids and adults. My formation is from classic piano, being that my main activity of study. I have played different styles aswell, from jazz to neo soul, and I also enjoy playing piano through midi and produce music. Lately I have been creating lo fi piano music so I think I can offer a wide range of different styles. I like to work listening to the demands of my students, and not imposing repertory that doesn't come from the desire of the student, although I can offer some guidelines in order to make the progress of the student more organize and consistent.
