Instead of suppressing these emotions and creating energetical and mental blockages (that can end up into somatic pains or burn-out): we should pay more attention to these inner warning messages and strengthen our emotional intelligence to be able to cope with the infinitesimal external stimulus and daily-stress of our very fast lives. Merging from a movement philosophy research entitled Behind & Beyond, to its phenomenological understanding. The metaphysical unity of the tangible and intangibles bodies expounds the undeniable relationships between those in the physical realm. The tangible body (the material vehicle), the intangibles bodies (psychological, emotional, energetical, and spiritual). As a dance healing practice, guiding the practitioner to conscious corporeality, and subjective emotional understanding, this methodology can also be a useful tool to improve artistry and technical skills on a deeper level, widening mindful creativity, awareness, empathy, and sensitivity. Oriental Dance group lessons - in Geneva - Monday and Wednesday
Oriental dance is a dance of Egyptian origin, which includes many styles. Originally, it was a spontaneous and improvised dance, but today it is taught academically all over the world. It is traditionally practiced by women, who express by this art their femininity, their vitality, but also their feelings, joys and sorrows. In general, this dance is characterized by the dissociation of the parts of the body (isolations) that can move independently of one another. Oriental dance is as good with jerky rhythms as slow and fluid. Bellydance is not limited to movements of the pelvis: it solicits flexibility and tonicity of the bust, shoulders, arms, hands, pelvis and belly. It helps tone the thighs, relax the joints, develop the abdominals and maintain the back. Most of the work resides in the muscular contraction, this dance can be practiced at any age, in the respect of the limits of each dancer or dancer. The course begins with a joint and muscle warm-up, followed by technical work. The basic movements are then integrated into sequences that allow you to move in space and experience the pleasure of dancing, before ending with a session of relaxation.

1- Wedding choreography: having practiced dance (Latin dances, salsa, hiphop and African) for about 15 years, I propose to create complete and original choreographies for the bride and groom that will surprise and dazzle all your guests! My choreographies will be adapted to the level of dance of each one, even for the beginners it is possible to carry out very beautiful and simple sequences. I recommend taking a package of 10 lessons (1 hour) to set up your choreography and staging. I have an eye for detail and I really like contact with others, I really favor the feeling with my clients so that my classes are a moment of fun and not a constraint. Your choreography can last between 3 and 6 minutes, ideally your musical montage should be ready before the 1st class. I can integrate movements from different styles of dance in couple or individually (bachata, salsa, contemporary, African, hiphop), and create a staging / story specific to your desires. 2- Sports coaching / Cardio Boxing: I am also a Cardio Kickboxing instructor (certificate obtained at IFAS). I offer regular sports monitoring to help you keep or regain a silhouette in accordance with your expectations, build more muscle or simply let off steam and have a good time. 3- Dance lessons: being versatile in dance, I offer lessons to improve you in salsa and bachata by creating sequences with "pasitos" or new steps. I also offer "social dance" classes to learn how to dance in the evening for beginners who want to be comfortable with their body and have fun on the dance floor! I live in Nyon and I work in Geneva so I can easily move between these two cities according to your availability and mine. Preferably on weekends or some evenings after work. About how I teach, and why I started; I was looking for dance that was fun, liberating, and yet artistically challenging, all at the same time; I craved something that brought and demanded a more humane experience inside of the studio. My interest at the moment is to use our human experiences and bodies as they are. I’m not so interested in trying to force them into something else, but to allow that freedom to take us to whatever imaginary or fantastical place where dance should be able to take us. I believe my obligation as a dance teacher is to encourage students to have fun when dancing. It’s something that’s forgotten a lot as a budding artist, but one of the most important things for perseverance in this field. I believe that if the curiosity, imagination, and enjoyment is there, the technique will come as well because there’s a mutual belief, from both the teacher and student, in oneself. Of course to learn a variety of dance styles, be technically proficient, and pursue a personal creative expression is important, but having an experience with a group of people and letting go into imagination while allowing yourself to have fun will push a dancer even further in their artistry, I believe. To be able to be given images, sensations, feelings, etc. and have the awareness to translate them into some form of movement is an important skill as an artist and human being

Hello everyone!!! :-) Friday salsa lessons will finally resume !!! :-) This event is for anyone who wants to learn LA salsa as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are learning to learn salsa in an evolutionary way. In other words, we will begin with footsteps and basic figures that will fit into more and more complex figures. A fairly regular participation is therefore recommended even if the steps will be briefly recalled later. We insist that you must practice what has been seen, otherwise you will forget, thus making your evolution difficult. That's why we invite you to stay for the dance party from 11pm to rehearse directly with your new friends. PROGRAM: 20h-21h: Beginners 0 (those who have never danced) 21h-22h: Beginners 1 and Intermediaries (those who already have the basics) 22h-23h: Advanced (those who already have some control) 23h: Salsa evening to practice directly with your classmates and other dancers. How will 1h of classes be held?
