Cours de musique (formation musicale, harmonie classique jazz et pop/rock, histoire de la musique)

(FR au dessous) Music is universal. It's a truth we accepted, but we don't figure out how far it can go.

After years of studying and professional activity linked to music, I discovered that the limits among different music genres is a mirage: there are more things in common between hip-hop, for example, and classical music than differences.

That's why I offer lessons of harmony, music structure and forms and composition adapted to any concerns and interests. All levels. All ages.

A verry positive first contact laid me to take a series of 5 lessons
Clarinet is one of the most versatile and coolest instruments that ever existed: classical music, jazz, folk music around the world, just name it! After years of training, studying and professional activity, I learned you have to be versatile in different styles. I offer clarinet and bass clarinet lessons in any style you'd like to learn: clarinet technique itself, classical clarinet and/ how to apply music theory to your performance skills, jazz improvisation... I'll be very happy to help you to find out your voice and language through the instrument through a very creative and transversal methodology. My experience in teaching, orchestral performance, solo performance and chamber music performance is huge. If you want to know me more don't hesitate to ask for my CV or media. I also have a solid experience in Alexander Technique which I apply to my performance skills and my lessons.

Guitar lessons (acoustic & electric) for all ages
The guitar lesson will allow you to have an initiation for a person who has no notion about it or who is not necessarily foreign to certain concepts related around the instrument. The work will be carried out in stages, taking into account the level of the student, the objective pursued as well as the time dedicated, all this in a structured, fun way and above all taking pleasure. It will be a question of basic elements such as the work of major/minor open chords, scales, the development of the musical ear and gradually going into the depth of certain styles such as blues, funk, jazz, bossa nova, samba, pop. , rock to dissect other elements enriching the game on the guitar. This progressive work put in place will consolidate the foundations for developing learning over time.

Bianca
Conservatory graduate gives private lessons in modern singing and jazz
The method I use in my singing lessons is divided into two main parts: the technique and the repertoire. In vocal technique, we will work on specific aspects such as the anatomy of the phonatory apparatus, its functioning, breathing, vocal emission, extension exercises, vocal register, vocal agility and vocal hygiene. . In the repertoire, we will mainly work on songs that help and support the development of everyone's artistic personality, and we will choose songs that can help the student acquire new vocal language and vocal cues. With me you can work on songs in Italian (I am a native Italian speaker), in English (I graduated from the Brussels Conservatory in English under the direction of my singing teacher David Linx), in French and in Spanish (languages that I studied, spoke and sung) and finally in Portuguese (a language that I studied a lot thanks to the Brazilian music that I sang and from which I learned a lot). My method is for anyone of any age who has decided to use their voice consciously, so not only singers but also actors, teachers and anyone who has to use the voice in their profession. With children, the method will focus more on rhythm, singing and musical awakening. In addition, we will explore topics such as complementary piano (piano accompaniment with voice), songwriting (writing your first songs or helping you write and write an unreleased song), recording and producing songs. a cover or your own original song. In short, there are so many things to learn about voice and music that the avenues are endless and I am always looking for them, constantly updating and with great passion that I can't wait to pass on to you. Cours de violoncelle pour tous! / Cello lessons for everyone! / ¡Clases de Cello para todos! / Cellolessen voor iedereen!
Hello to everyone! My name is María, I am a Venezuelan Cellist. All my musical education was inside the musical program "El Sistema" in Venezuela. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist. I am current studying my Master degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with Jeroen Reuling. In what consist my lessons? Cello classes for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), it does not matter if you have never played cello before or if you are already studying, the important thing is to help you achieve the goals you want with this beautiful instrument. To have better results with practice, if it is necessary to help you with music theory, I will help you. As well, if you're looking for help in orchestral excerpts for auditions, I'm here for you! For kids, parental support is also important during some lesson, we are all a team and we need to work together to achieve the goals! Classes can be in person at your house or mine (BRUSSELS, BELGIUM) or via videocall (Skype, Zoom, etc). The schedules are planned according to the time of the student and the teacher. Looking forward to meeting you and work together! Maria.

Bastien
Harmony and Classical Writing
This applied music theory course is for any passionate musician, regardless of level. It aims to broaden his musical knowledge and abilities by understanding music as a whole. The goal is to be able to decode and understand how a music (not only of classical style, but also pop, jazz, rock, electro, ...) was composed, and to be able to use interesting harmonies oneself. and solid in a personal composition / production. It is made up of two main topics: * Harmony (building chords, understanding chord diagrams, learning to Harmonize a given melody, the possibility or not of using these Harmonies in a given style, etc.). But also understand the key, how to build a scale, how to navigate between different keys, how to transform a classic chord suite into another style? Harmony is a course open to all and all levels, no prerequisites to have. Any passionate musician will find interest in it, that's guaranteed. * Writing is a much more targeted course, which is already an introduction to classical composition. In this branch, we will develop the rules of classical writing (parallel fifths and octaves, false relations etc, ...) within the framework of an exercise based on a given melody or bass (in the first case it will be necessary to invent harmonization and compose a bass, in the second, it will be necessary to invent the harmonization and the melody). This course can also be used by academy or conservatory students who wish to prepare for the writing exam, or simply to deepen their knowledge.

App
Private course of Piano/Composition/Computer Music with AppMuse
< Learning to play the piano is not learning to play the piano > Before you start learning the piano, you should know that: -''What we really want to learn is "music", not "piano".'' The purpose of learning any instrument is to learn to use the language of "music" so that we can use it to express ourselves and enjoy ourselves with others. We play the piano to make beautiful music, not to make our hands fast or our fingers strong ( That is the job of gym.). < Course content > Actually, I prefer calling my course " Music Counselling " because we will not only discuss " piano performance ", but also music theory, music history, instrument structure, piano playing ergonomy, composers' style study, harmony, composition, arrangement, recording, computer music, MIDI, sound physics. . and all sorts of other topics that professional musicians should know about, but for now, for not confusing you, I will simply call our classes "piano lessons". < Duration > For each course, I will schedule at least 70 minutes for you, including 60 minutes for the course, plus 10 minutes for discussion and questions (so that your course isn't rushed by the next student). I hope our courses will give you enough time to solve your piano and music problems. < Recording > I highly encourage and help my students to record. This gives you an objective standard to review what you have done. In my 9 years music teaching experience, it is often that a student is already playing some parts very well, but because there is no objective standard to compare, they feel they could be better, but don't know how to make it better. It's easy to get tired and bored when one is practicing without a clear goal. Comparing your recordings with those you like on YouTube or Spotify can help you to identify yourself a lot. If you have a digital piano, for each session we can produce your music video as a result of your effort. When I have a new student, I spend time understanding his or her current level and discussing his or her study plan in details. My student is fairly free to select their own themes, repertoires, and study progress.

Paola
Private lessons of violin, viola, and/or music theory
As a violinist in higher education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I intend to pursue a professional career as a violinist, as well as as a teacher. Adoring to share my passion for music, I have been teaching the violin to different children, teenagers and adults for 3 years now. I am particularly interested in teaching different profiles of young artists, in order to help them develop their knowledge and skills. Whatever the level of the student, I always adapt as much as possible to his level and his rhythm. Always wanting to keep the pleasure of playing, I take the time to discuss with the student his projects, musical desires, motivations... The notion of sharing and communication is very important to me: music is above all a pleasure and a sharing between us. Remaining attentive to my student, it is essential for me to teach and to make him progress with things that he likes and that makes him want to share in music. Having a classical training since the age of 6, I also have expertise in world music (especially South American), as well as in jazz and contemporary music. I am therefore of course very open to playing and teaching any style of music.
