Speaking fluent German, and giving private lessons, notably at Culture Networld in Pully, I always look forward to meeting new students.
All the students I've tutored have rediscovered their enthusiasm for learning German and made rapid progress. I don't use traditional school methods. I always research each student's weaknesses so I can tailor my lessons accordingly. Of course, if the school assigns homework, tests, etc., I focus on those with my student. If they have vocabulary or verbs to learn, I don't expect them to memorize them instantly. We review what they need to learn, and then I plan activities around it to help the concepts stick in their minds.
