We did not have a good connection. She didn't come prepared. So most of my time was learning how she works instead of informing me of HER process in messages prior. She said she wanted me to print out work for the lesson which she claimed to have sent to me and I didnt recieve. She claimed I didn't brief her as to what my needs were. Which I had specifically asked for a German Interactive session for a 6year old boy going to Grade 1. When I told her to speak German to my son she continued in English and said they should get to know each other. He is a very observant boy and realised that she didn't listen to me and he felt the need not to listen to her either. So the lesson did not get off on a good start with her complaining about print outs, speaking english saying she wanted to get to know him, then when I left the room she intimidated him by speaking FRENCH. Now as a CURRENT teacher you should understand kids more and have patience. She was very firm with him. By then my son didn't want to partake in the lesson. He warmed up eventually when her TONE became calmer and warmer towards him. Noah is not a silly child and picks up on people that are ingenuous. A GOOD CHARACTER trait to have. Needless to say she is a big fat NO for me!
