Public Speaking: Program to Work on His Oral Expression and Nonverbal Language

Translated by Google. Click to view original.
Hello,

I suggest you improve your public speaking. Whether as part of a presentation, an eloquence competition, a Pitch, etc... I explain below in detail how my lessons take place.

~ METHODOLOGY ~

1) If the desired objective is specific (interview, team meeting, fundraising, TPE, presentation, etc.), I work on:
- the substance and its logic: constructing your speech
- form via simulation: train and correct yourself.

Nothing better to become aware of your weaknesses and correct them very quickly.

2) The objective can be to be more confident in general when expressing yourself orally: to be confident, to assert yourself without judging yourself, not to stumble over your words. In this case, I use improvisation a lot to get out of your comfort zone and surpass yourself.

In short, together we will learn how to be right and have confidence in yourself. With argument writing, improvisation, pitches, etc. Some exercises will be done during classes and others will need to be prepared in advance.

6 areas of work:
•The look.
•The structure of discourse and its development
•The standing/sitting posture, the famous “stand up straight!” ".
•The voice (use of singing techniques particularly applied to speaking)
•Stress management.
•Self-confidence.

Courses can be given: in FRENCH, ENGLISH and ARABIC (literary).

~ COURSE ~

For almost 9 years, I have participated, organized and chaired eloquence and debate competitions in France and Europe. Today, I am a trainer within the Fédération Francophone de Débat in the program where I have trained a large audience of middle and high school students and young professionals to assert themselves through speaking.

Today I provide eloquence/debate training for members of the most important debate and eloquence association in Paris. At the same time, once a month, I train students at the Ecole Normale Supérieur as part of the “Graine D’orateur” program.

Previously, I coached and represented several delegations at the Hague International Model United Nation (THIMUN), as well as that of the University of Cambridge. I also accompanied a French team of high school students to the European Parliament as part of the EuroScola program.

Accompanying, and, above all, seeing as these people gain self-confidence and convince their audience (whether a teacher, a parliament, etc.) has given me a joy that I never stop looking for. continuing my training work.

All participants in my courses appreciate the concrete and immediately reusable aspect of my teachings.

Coupled with a friendly atmosphere, discover another way of learning, where the student feels useful and unused, considered and not judged, capable and uncomplexed

Reviews (1)

I met Salah on a cold night. I was determined to learn new pitching skills. And despite my lack of experience, Salah used empathy and adaptability to go forward into an effective lesson. Experience is important, but with a good guide, anyone can progress.

I'm half French, half Chinese. I'm 35 years old, married and have a 4 and half daughter. We speak mostly English at home. I currently have 4 students between the ages of 9 - 40. I adapt my classes according to the level and needs of students. Furthermore, I create my own lesson plans, around comprehension/reading/pronunciation/videos/dialogues, a little bit of grammar, etc. I try to adapt as much as possible to the students needs.

English Lessons by an American in Paris (REMOTE or IN-PERSON)
This class can be on anything you want it to be on. I can tutor students learning English, or I can make a curriculum for the time period of the course. I am a student studying abroad in Paris with lots of experience with kids, working at an elementary school in Washington, D.C. and teaching swim lessons as well. English is my native language and I am open to any lessons a student may need.

Lisa
mathematics, English and French courses (middle school to final year level)
Hello, passionate about scientific subjects and languages, I am currently in L1 mathematics. I passed my baccalaureate with honors and then chose to continue my studies in science. I have always enjoyed sharing my solid knowledge with my friends. Very attentive, I always take the time to explain concepts that have not been acquired or understood. Having had the opportunity to travel abroad several times, I was able to develop a solid foundation in foreign languages (Chinese and English). My learning method consists first of all in answering questions that the student asks about concepts that he or she may not have understood. Then, I suggest we do exercises together to deepen their knowledge.

Vasiliy
English for beginners, intermediate and advanced. Prep for school exams.
I think English is essential for everyday life it gives you the freedom of doing whatever you heart desires. You can connect to people around the world, get the use of English-speaking social media which is huge. And you can travel anywhere and not worrying about someone wouldn’t get you. In my class we will focus on vocabulary and grammar, we will watch films in English and dissect the language in it.

I am a graduate student, coming from Università Bocconi (Milano) and currently studying at Sciences Po for the Spring Semester. I offer language classes, teaching both Italian (mother tongue) and English (C1). I believe that practice is of paramount importance in every learning process, thus my lessons will focus on developing conversations with the student, in order to improve his/her level. Nevertheless, I am flexible to adjust to the student's needs (e.g. focusing more on grammar, if needed).
