I am a London based music educator, working for many Music Hubs and Institutions across the city. My teaching experience is broad and deep: brass instruments, theory, music production, arranging and more; from primary schools to university lecturing. I also offer private lessons in my studio in Camden or online.

The trumpet: its correct technical execution and the interpretation of popular and academic universal repertoires, is available to everyone regardless of their age. We will build a logical sequence of studies that will help develop the technical aspects. And we will address repertoires according to the age and taste of the student. we will draw a path with short, medium and long term goals. we will build a technical routine and healthy habits to progress correctly. In addition, we will select musical pieces by mutual agreement to mature the technical development hand in hand with musical growth. I am a professional trumpeter, I have participated in symphony orchestras, wind bands, big band, and small chamber and jazz ensembles. I have extensive experience teaching children, youth and adults. For me it is very important to make music from the first lesson, because there must be a balance between technical practice and its application in small melodies or musical pieces. No matter the musical genre, we will always find a repertoire according to the level and interest of each student. If you already know how to play and you need to perfect a piece or prepare a recital or audition, you can count on my experience and accompaniment as well.

The trombone, trumpet or piano seem hard instruments to learn, but with the right approach it's a fun and enjoyable process filled with small tasks that will make you improve and have fun at the same time. The same goes with music theory and composition; the classes are structured in a way that you wont feel overwhelmed with too much information because the goals and method will be set based on your level and needs. All offered classes are available for students of every age and level, the only thing you need is to make the first step by signing in and we will make a plan together after we have met.

I can teach beginners and intermediates. I am quite flexible in the methods used, there are always plenty of ways to help you progress. I want you to benefit from my experience in classical music to help you both technically and musically. I can teach in French or in English. I can teach at home, at yours or by webcam. My teaching method is as follows without the instrument: Awareness of the breath, placement of the mask (lips, tongue, palate, throat), body position. With the instrument: The air column, the position of the mouthpiece, the work and the position of the tongue. How to be enduring on the trumpet and get tired as little as possible. For the advanced: work on the treble, the brass section, precision, Cat Anderson's whisper g, the choice of mouthpieces, the piccolo trumpet. There are also balms to relax the facial muscles, flush out lactic acid, oxygenate the blood and reduce swelling. Subsequently or for the students who play correctly, we will work on the classic program of the technique with French and American methods, work of improvisation and decryption.

HI! I am Lenart and I am currently a student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have been playing the trumpet for more than 15 years and have experience in many different music genres like Jazz, Pop, Classical, Baroque. I graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. I used to do a lot of teaching (young to old) when I was still residing in Slovenia. My desired goal as a teacher is to show you an easy and fun way to master a new skill or some new aspects of it, but not to fill your head with unnecessary things that will make your progress hard and slow. I have studied with some of the biggest names of classical and jazz trumpet worldwide like: Omar Tomasoni, Miroslav Petkov, Reinhold Friedrich, Chris Colleti and many more.

My name is Lyle, and I teach Trumpet, Piano, and also more general composition and music production. I specialise in contemporary styles (anything from the last 100 years), and have found many of my students typically are: - Young children, who's parents are looking for a teacher who is more interested in flexibility and helping the child become inspired and self-motivated, rather than crushed by overly academic and strict teaching. - Adults who feel like their childhood instrumental learning has left them with large gaps in their knowledge and ability, particularly when it comes to improvisation and playing music without sheet music. - Learners who are interested in developing their musicianship, and curious about, but also a bit scared by JAZZ. - Learners who are interested in recording music, and want advice on both music and professional goals and the industry. Hi there! I am Rafael, a graduate Master's student at the Conservatorium Maastricht. I have been playing trumpet for more than 15 years and I am excited to share my passion and show others the fantastic sound of the trumpet. In the past when I was still living in Portugal (my home country), I have been a trumpet teacher for musicians of all ages. Additionally, I have experience in orchestra playing such as Radio Filharmonisch Orkest, NJO (Nationaal Jeugdorkest), and Limburg Jeugd Orkest. I am passionate about classical music, however, I am open to working with any music style, like Jazz, Pop, or Baroque. Before coming to the Netherlands, I graduated from the ESMAE (Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo) in Porto, Portugal. During my career, I have been working with musicians such as Floris Onstweder, Benny Wiame, Kevin Wauldron, Telmo Barbosa, and Carlos Leite. I also did a masterclass with musicians like Reinhold Friedrich, Jeroen Berwaerts, Charles Schlueter, Gábor Tarkövi, Fábio Brum, Clément Saunier, and Andrei Kavalinski. My goal as your teacher is to give you the main tools to play trumpet and expose you to the various aspects of trumpet performance. I can teach you about aspects like style, tone quality, endurance, and musical phrasing. I am also happy to help you with any aspects of music theory if the student is interested in doing so. I will help you understand concepts such as keys and meter signatures. I am also willing to help you prepare for possible entrance exams to music schools or Conservatoriums.
