My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

Katherine has been vocally trained in contemporary for 25 years and studied classical voice for three years. After developing Muscular Tension Dysphonia in 2010 and not singing for almost two years, she overcame this vocal disorder after working with some of the best voice and voice rehabilitation specialists in the UK. This experience further motivated her interest in teaching the following to her students in contemporary voice* using knowledge and training gained by renowned vocal coaches, ENTs and voice rehabilitation specialists: - Vocal technique, health and hygiene - Guidance in voice rehabilitation with students experiencing or recovering from vocal issues - Managing Performance Anxiety - Breath control - Microphone technique and stage performance - Basic music theory - Artist development and mentoring Katherine has over 13 years experience in one-to-one lessons, teaching students aged 4 years old to 50 years old of all levels and has developed programs for small choirs. Before going even further, I would like to share with you my cello learning journey. I was born in a small town in the south of Malaysia, where there was not a lot of music teacher, even though I knew I wanted to do cello very early on, I only had the chance to 'finally starting the cello when I was 15 years old, and then when I came to France I realized that I was very late compared to my classmates ... This is why I wanted to find a very effective way to learn the instrument, I was lucky to have superb teachers who helped me progress and since then I have passed the competition for '' entered the CRR in Paris (being much older than my classmates), I graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris and even better I did a lot of concerts, I participated in master's class and I even passed competitions to play as an academic / intern in orchestras. All this to tell you that there is no age to start, all that matters is motivation and a good learning method. I was certainly not the genius child but I knew how to adapt to have real results. Everything I have learned you can learn too, I have always loved sharing my passion for music and with years of teaching experience I have helped my child students, adult beginners or more advanced to have real progress and results ... My teaching plan is first of all, to understand your objective, whatever it is to be able to play a specific piece or just to have fun with the instrument etc ... then to establish a work plan that suits you well, and then help you step by step until you reach your goal. And I sincerely believe that anyone can be successful with a well-established plan. I try to vary between the Suzuki method and the classical studies of Feuillard etc, I also arrange the pop music or film music according to your desires. For beginners, I try to help you establish a very solid basic technique so that you can progress quickly but with a lot of rigor. For the advanced amateurs, I try to work more in the musicality and to play works in different styles. I teach in French, English or Mandarin. Hello, my name is Matéo and I am 25 years old. I have been playing the guitar for 8 years and I have been teaching it for more than 4 years to about twenty children or adult students that I have had in private or group lessons, at home or in music school. On the diploma side, I obtained my DEM Jazz (Diploma of Musical Studies) after several years in conservatory and music school. My favorite style is therefore jazz but I teach current music in general on the guitar (acoustic as well as electric) and above all I adapt to my students to teach them what they like. In addition to learning pieces, the knowledge I have acquired allows me to approach musical theory (the rhythmic, melodic and harmonic aspects inherent in each piece) and the logic of the instrument (the organization of the notes on the handle) if necessary, the goal not being to inflict a lot of music theory on ourselves but to use it to our advantage, by small touches, in order to become a complete musician. A few words about my pedagogy: For me, the most important thing - especially when you're just starting out - is to have fun making music. What I always ask my students: “What do you want to play? What music do you like? ". Because it is this desire that will make it possible to make the effort to work to achieve the result and above all to progress on the path. After a necessary moment spent on the fundamentals (posture, position of the fingers, right hand/left hand function, open chords, rhythm, simple melodies) I thus adapt to the profile of each student to offer him avenues of work in relation to the selected piece.
