I'm a french professional violinist established in Berlin, I'm currently member of the academy of the Radio Orchestra in Berlin and graduated from the Universität der Künste Berlin, Hight school of Music Geneva and Lyon I give violin lessons at home, for students of all levels and ages. I constantly adapt my teaching according to the expectations and objectives of the student, so the technical work that allows to acquire a better ease with the instrument will always be directed towards a musical research and the pleasure of playing music I can also give some basics of music theory, included in a violin class. I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels. As a pianist 12 years of teaching experience and over 21 years of playing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the course of learning piano. If the student is interested in a more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams. For example, in the last year my students have achieved highest marks in the ABRSM exams as well as prizes in various competitions. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance/Music from University of Minnesota and TCU-Fort Worth, TX, USA. My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as soloist with orchestra (also as harpist), and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio and look forward to meeting new students.

RGT is an UK-based music teaching organisation and offers a wide range of internationally recognized exams, in partnership with London College of Music Exams (one of the world's most respected music examination boards, established since 1887) and certificated by the University of West London. If anyone considers taking up the guitar exams and become a qualified guitarist, I can back you up. Any styles, pop/rock/blues/jazz/funk/classical guitar etc. Whatever songs/riffs/comps/(16th note) strumming patterns (lead guitar/rhythm guitar) harmony and music theory, solfeggio(aural) and so on. About the Lesson: Are you a music enthusiast that wants to start learning how to play? Are you an already good player but you want to further develop your skills? In these lessons, we will create a curriculum together, based on your wishes, needs and musical taste. Our goal is for you to be able to express yourself through your instrument. I will guide and help you to achieve this goal by providing the following classes: - Contrabass (Jazz and Classical and any other style) - Bass Guitar (Any modern style) - Music Theory - Solfeggio/ Ear training - Jazz Harmony All these classes can be taught seperately. Nevertheless, during our instrumental lesson we will cover a portion of the material of all the modules.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. However, diving into the wonders of the piano/keyboard can be a bit overwhelming... and that is where I come in! This course is for anyone from complete beginners to advanced students, from lessons that focus completely on classical music to lessons that include or focus on the basics of jazz/pop. If you like to sing, we can also work on the basics of jazz/pop vocal, so you can learn to accompany yourself at the piano. In our lessons, technique will be an inherent part of the training, as well as analysis, basic music theory, and efficient ways of practicing music. In a nutshell, I am a professional pianist, vocalist, lyricist and blogger. Since 2014, I have taught in various music schools, teaching piano, ensemble, jazz vocal, and solfege. On a more elaborate note, I obtained my Master of Arts in classical piano, summa cum laude, at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) in 2017, and studied as a Fulbrighter at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington USA during the 2019-2020 academic year. Every day, I strive to become a better musician and person, and I aim to transfer that passion to my students.

In this course I teach you to become familiar with the scores of the Gregorian Chant and its Vatican notation, which works in tetragram instead of staff, and does not have the conventional rhythmic figures. We will learn the Gregorian symbols and ways, while also awakening the voice and gaining notions of Latin, history and liturgy.
