Native from the Philippines offers an individualized pedagogy to learn the languages of the Philippines: Tagalog and/or Cebuano/Bisaya. My goal is to promote the languages of the Philippines in Europe, in general and in France, helping future Filipino tourists learn the language before traveling to the Philippines, as well as helping European Filipinos learn the language of their parents. In this course, we will cover the basics of the Filipino language: pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. Various activities will be organized to promote mastery of sentence construction and improvement of the power of words. Cultural contributions will be included such as fiesta celebrations, food, songs and lifestyle.

I specialize in tutoring English, Mathematics and Sciences (STEM) for kids as well as Exam Preparation for students (Cambridge Exam, IELTS) and conversational ESL, general, business and academic English for adults. For students, I like to keep the workload challenging and fun. I prefer not to burden them with homework but I like it when students learn to take the initiative to study on their own. For adults, we can work on a discussion/conversation-based activity and perhaps even do some writing challenges. I am interested in helping the adults learn to speak better using proper grammar and even improving in pronunciation.
