My activities as a flute teacher in a conservatory led me to work musical and instrumental practice, individually and collectively, across all cycles, from musical awakening to more advanced training in the 3rd cycle, or even in master class for future professionals. Beyond this teaching, I had the opportunity to lead various educational projects (in connection with the National Scheme of Educational Guidance and the Charter of artistic education), aiming to disseminate musical culture, to strengthen links between artistic, educational and social creation through meetings between conservatoires, various cultural institutions and other actors in the area.

I'm a flutist who just ended the Master in Antwerp Conservatory obtaining high distinction result and I have experience on teaching flute from debutants (children or adults) until preparing audition for students who want to enter a conservatory. I also have experience on teaching solfège and for people interested on starting music (both flute and music theory). I can combine everything in one lesson. I enjoy playing the flute together with the students and for debutants, as I also play the guitar, I can accompany them.

In this violin course you will learn a foundation in learning one of the most rewarding instruments in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Grip the bow, hold the violin, have the perfect hand position and enjoy playing the strings while learning how to read the notes, the violin rhythm and technique. Students will generally learn better if they feel a connection developing with their teacher, whether that’s through humour, showing care about their development, or making sure teacher devote time equally to all students when in a group. Houd je van zingen? Of loop je de hele dag met liedjes in je hoofd? Kom dan op zangles bij Deborah online of in Amstelveen Westwijk. We zingen liedjes uit verschillende landen en tijden. Ook gaan we aan de slag met verschillende ritmes, noten en toonoefeningen. Als je bezig bent met zingen kan je even al het andere loslaten en dat geeft een heerlijk gevoel van ontspanning waardoor je de rest van de dag extra energie hebt. Je lichaam is je instrument bij het zingen. We proberen dat instrument zo mooi mogelijk te laten klinken.. Tijdens de zanglessen zijn we ook bezig met articulatie, de uitspraak van vreemde talen en ook aan de betekenis van en je gevoel bij een bepaald stuk. Natuurlijk bepalen we samen wat voor soort muziek je gaat zingen. Ook maken we samen een ontdekkingsreis naar jouw favoriete muziek. WIE KAN ER LEREN ZINGEN? Iedereen kan leren zingen. Door de zanglessen zal je merken dat het zingen makkelijker wordt. Bovendien is zingen goed voor ontspanning, zowel van lichaam als geest. Zingen is gewoon genieten!

The class includes songwriting skills in POP, ROCK, JAZZ and many other styles of popular music as well as compositional skills in writing CLASSICAL, FILM, THEATER music. I specialize in both popular music and classical music. The class includes both theoretic knowledge and its practical application with students instrument of choice. The class also includes skills in guitar, piano and percussion playing.

Student at the Brussels Conservatory. From practical lessons to theoretical notions, I know how to adapt to the student and his interests to provide a course that really brings him the elements that will allow him to quickly flourish in the musical field. With already 3 years of course experience in non-profit organizations and in particular, I usually train students of all ages, beginners or more advanced. I am open to a large number of musical styles, current or old, focusing my thought on a "musical whole". I currently specialize in classical and contemporary saxophone but I am also very open to improvisation and live music such as jazz and the styles that derive from it, but also to electronic music. I am a professional violinist. I like to teach and play music. I have a lot of stage and teaching experience. I want to share my knowledge and help each student to improve their violin skills. I teach beginners and advanced. The individuality of each student is very important to me. A pleasant and friendly atmosphere of the lesson is important to me too. I am studying at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden. I played in orchestras such as “Neue Philharmonie Munich” (2020), “German-Scandinavian Youth Philharmonic” (Berlin, 2020), “Zakhar Bron Festival Orchestra” (Switzerland, 2019), “Animato Academy and Concert Tour 2018” (Austria, Hungarian, Czech Republic, Slovakia), „International Region Orchestra“ (Germany, 2018), „East-West Chamber Orchestra“ (Bulgaria, 2018). I was a soloist and concertmaster of the Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Trans-Siberian Art Festival (Novosibirsk, Russia) and a soloist of the Youth Symphony Orchestra (Ulsan, Korea).

Thao is a successful performing pianist and teacher, who is working internationally across Europe. Thao grew up in Warsaw (Poland) where she started the piano and studied at the Chopin Academy. Thao also studied at the Manhattan School of Music (New York, USA), and the Royal College of Music (London, UK). As a performing pianist, Thao has performed recitals and concerts in Poland, the USA, UK, Sweden, and Vietnam. As a teacher, Thao has helped countless students achieve their very best potential. Many students have been awarded distinctions for ABRSM exams for the piano and Grade 5 theory. Students have also been offered music scholarships to leading independent schools in the London area. Thao has been teaching for over 10 years and has spent the last 5 years also teaching online using Skype and FaceTime. Thao is fluent in, and able to teach in Polish, Vietnamese, Russian, and English.
