¡Hola! My name is Loreto, I'm chilean, I'm a certified Spanish teacher (Didactic certificate in Spanish teaching, KU Leuven - UC Louvain) and I'm a Spanish native speaker. Currently I'm working in a famous Spanish institution as a Spanish teacher. Every lesson (1 hour) it's specially designed for each one of my students according to their levels and interests. Would you like to learn Spanish and dive into Spanish-speaking culture (films, literature, music)? Spanish is the fourth most spoken language in the world, present in a whole continent. By learning Spanish, you’ll get access to a whole cultural world, expanding your intercultural and communicational skills. With years of experience in language academies, I adapt to the goals, needs, and level of each of my students. We will also dive into Spanish-spoken literature (narrative, short-story, poetry), films, and music to broaden the learning experience! Through these sessions I try to teach the student in question in a positive way how he / she can work with the different Microsoft applications. I have been tutoring both students (privately or in groups) and companies for 4 years now. The Microsoft Office package has many useful and important functions, but these are sometimes quite complicated. I myself am very well trained in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. For the Excel part I had 2 years of lessons and 3 years of self-study. I teach both beginners and people who already have a certain basic knowledge, group lessons are also possible and I am also open to companies! In addition, I also provide a self-made tutoring course that can be used by the student during and after classes. I made these with the aim of explaining certain aspects in Excel step by step with a lot of images and examples, which makes processing even so easy. - As for the lessons. The lessons are about mathematics of secondary education. More specifically, I will assist in the theoretical processing of mathematics as its application (the exercises). In addition, I will provide additional study material (aids, schedules, ...) if necessary. - Way of handling. I would like to have an overview in advance of the study material, the tests or tasks in which certain problems are visible, .... This way I can prepare the lessons in advance and focus on the problem. In addition, I can estimate / determine his / her level in this way. I try, in a simple way and for the student in an understandable way, to explain the course in a different way so that this is clear to the student. Afterwards I like to enjoy the results. - Why am I doing this? Math is a passion of mine and for me there is nothing more fun than sharing my passion. Unfortunately, my love for mathematics is not part of my studies and that is why I like to do this as a hobby and as an extra income. Of course I work professionally. - Experiences? I love nothing more than tutoring my fellow students about the subject matter. This is appreciated by them. Of course I also have experience in tutoring mathematics of both primary and secondary education. - Who am I? My name is Arina and I am a legal practice student. I am 22 years old and I live in a student flat in Leuven. In high school itself, I had a traumatic experience in first and second high school for mathematics. I thought it was a very interesting and cool subject, but I just couldn't understand it. During these years I had the same teacher, who did not teach me the subject matter in a, for me, the right way. After (compulsory by my parents) tutoring, my interest in mathematics increased to such an extent that I started studying economics mathematics in the following years. My love for math just won't go away...

Being from Barcelona, Spanish is my native language. I'm learning Dutch but I think it's also interesting to be able to offer Spanish classes in Leuven, Belgium or remotely for anyone who is really interested in it. I teach vocabulary, grammar and conversational classes, I make my own notes and give them to the student, I have a very flexible schedule and I love teaching.

During the course with me you will have the opportunity to learn this new language in an entertaining and motivating way. We are going to work both the field of reading, writing, pronunciation and comprehension together.
