Because of my studies and having traveled a lot, I know how difficult it can be to learn a foreign language and how difficult it can be to overcome certain levels. That's why I offer you my help! I am a French native from Poitou Charente in the west of France and I studied in Paris. I now live in Taiwan (Taipei). For several years, I have been teaching French to children and adults of all levels. I have accompanied Koreans, Iranians, British, etc. My goal is that you enjoy learning French and reach your goals. The course will be totally personalized and adapted to your needs and interests. I will also introduce you to the French culture during our lessons (current events, highlights of the year, etc.) because in order to learn a language you need to understand the culture of the country. My classes will focus on the five skills: speaking, writing, listening, reading, and grammar. Of course, if you wish to work on only one aspect in particular, this will be possible. You have come across the right ad! ★ I am versatile: I can help your children with French and Maths. I can also help them in English and Spanish but I should point out that I am not trilingual, I provide academic support. ★ I'm listening: A prior discussion with parents is essential in order to know precisely the academic problems of their children and to best guide my lessons. I also like to ask the children afterwards what their difficulties are to see if parents and children have the same perception. When the assessment is established, I question the students on what they are studying in class with a view to following the program while trying to review specific points that have not been assimilated. I mainly use their courses and their textbooks so that my students keep their bearings, but if necessary I use the material I have. ★ I am a translator of incomprehensible courses: Indeed, the lessons are completely incomprehensible for most students. They are formalized in a way that no teenager can understand them. All students have the potential to become good as long as the concepts are well explained. My mission is therefore to simplify them and transcribe them into clear language. ★ I am methodical: I have improved my working methods through my 8 years of teaching. Mélinda
Melinda is an excellent tutor and I've been completely satisfied by our clases. Melinda took care to understand my learning objectives before structuring are classes around natural conversation, reading, writing, and pronunciation. In particular, she prepares good (and interesting!) learning resources - Including new articles, film clips, and customised exercise sheets. While she speaks English fluently, she manages to teach in a clear and patient manner, meaning she rarely needs to switch to English to explain concepts. Beyond her talents as a teacher, she's incredibly friendly and personable. She's also shown a lot of flexibility regarding class scheduling. For reference to future students: I am a native English speaker learning French as a second language. I had an OK grasp of basic French before starting classes, but lacked both familiarity with grammar and confidence in speaking. I've had several lessons with Melinda and have experienced a clear improvement in my level and I will continue on a regular basis.

I have been working with Andrey for about 2 months now, and I have to say he has been instrumental in my language learning journey. I have been working with him in different time zones across the world, and he has always been game to make something work -either taking appointments in the early afternoon, or the evenings. His understanding of French grammar and pronunciation, as well as his second to none note-taking skills, have allowed me to work on the parts of the French language that I struggle with most. He does all this while maintaining a relaxed and comfortable environment, where I feel ok to take things slower when I need to and transition back to English when necessary. It is honestly a pleasure to work with someone who understands how to teach the language to a native English speaker and has the materials to offer during the learning journey as well. No comment he gives, goes without thought, and I am thrilled to be working with someone who cares as much as I do about me becoming more comfortable with French.

Ester
My private violin lesson with Ester was absolutely perfect. I had a privilege to hear Ester play her violin and she is so good- it is crazy to think I was able to learn from her. She is also such a good teacher. Full of knowlege and patience- which is, in my opinion, a rare combination. I had no prior musical education and this was my first real music lesson. Ester managed to teach me basic note reading, correct violin holding and even playing my first tunes. Her explainations are very clear and easy to understand. And her approach is very friendly. She is also a very nice person and easy to talk to. I wish we lived in the same city so I could keep studying playing violin with Ester- that's how good she is. Lidia
