Trusted teacher: Meditation and Yin Yoga go hand in hand for me, we can use these practices to tune in to who we are; connecting to our experience when we feel uncertain of where life has taken us, who we are, or how to be at ease in our own skin and mind. Depending on what you need, we can look more closely at Meditation or at Yin Yoga, or a combination of both. Yin yoga is a wonderful practice to support your meditation; to touch in or reconnect with your body or to balance more active practices that focus on building and toning muscles. This practice can support a stiff, achy or even injured body but is also great as a counter practice to more intense sports such as running or martial arts where muscles often tend to shorten and become stockier. Especially people who experience frequent back pain or stiffness in the neck, back and joints can benefit tremendously from a Yin yoga approach. In these meditation classes we will take a close look at the workings of our minds by anchoring to the breath and our body. From this landing place, where we can always return, meditation can be an ongoing exploration of the many layers and depths of our experience. We can practice becoming comfortable with our discomfort, gradually becoming our own most intimate friend. You will receive instruction and guidance based on where you are, either as an experienced practitioner or coming to the practice for the first time.

Trusted teacher: Hi Dear Soul, My name is Tessy, I'm 26 coming from Luxembourg and currently living in Barcelona. Yoga crossed my life multiple times but caught my attention at a time I needed a rebirth and a big life change. I went from depressed, burnt out, lost, traumatized, emotionally completely blocked to now feeling strong emotions, having more awareness of mind, body and spirit, let go of heavy baggage, loving myself, my body and my life. It has been a great support in many life challenges and let me to come closer to what living life means. Yoga is a journey not a destination and I'm amazed by the endless process and progress. I decided to share this experience, and be of service to you, so that you can have your personal journey to yourself. In this class we will go through different spiritual practices such as 'Asana' (exercises), 'Pranayama' (breathwork), meditation and mantra chanting. The main goal is to make you have an inner journey closer to yourself, realign yourself and come to more inner peace. The physical aspect of the practice supports the inner journey by moving the energies in our bodies, unblock channels and give back life force energy. Your level of fitness, flexibility or strength does not determine your capacity of managing this class. It's all about you connecting to your body. Even though we will not have a main focus on the physical aspect, you will most probably see and feel improvements in those three areas. Yoga is a great teacher of life. If you use the knowledge you got on the mat throughout your dat, you will see changes and improvements in various different aspects of your life. Yoga, art, music, writing, dancing, cooking. These are all amazing hobbies that serve our soul and natural human state. We were meant to express ourselves. So sing off key, dance like no one’s watching, give yoga a chance and be ok being a “beginner”, draw badly, burn a few recipes. Because life is meant to be ENJOYED. I’m done chasing perfection, these days it’s all about progress and letting go of all the self-limiting beliefs and ways of living that no longer serve me. From the very beginning, yoga inspired me to be my best version, to evolve and love myself and everyone around as I never did before. Yoga taught me to show up authentically without the need to belong, to choose self-expression over self-denial and embrace who I truly am instead of what others want me to be, life became truly magical, fulfilling, fun and most of all REAL. On our classes I will: ~ Instruct you on how to safely get into poses and how to breathe correctly, teaching also some pranayama techniques. ~ Design yoga class sequences, including vinyasa and flow formats for beginner or advanced students, adapting different flows to your necessity. ~ Demonstrate postures to you and support you also in finding the right poses, helping you to avoid any injuries. ~ Guide you develop your body and mind awareness, as well as physical strength. ~ Show you how to practice yoga on your mat and also outside it. ** I am always striving for progress, not perfection!
