AriannaSongwriter & Graduate Voice Coach teaches singing, composition and music theory in and around Brussels.
As a vocal coach, I understand that it is important to develop a good vocal technique but also to develop self-confidence and mastery of oneself in order to be able to deliver the best of oneself in any situation. I take care of students of all levels and all ages. I explore with them different musical fields according to their desires and affinities. My classes are a mix of technique, improvisation and practice. I really like the practice to include an element of interactivity with my students and to be able to get out of my classes with mastered pieces, in their own way. Indeed, I also like to take the time to research with my students their own inner voices and talents so that they are really artistically speaking; a kind of musical inner journey. So, if you are looking to develop your vocal and musical abilities as well as develop your own artistic voice, do not hesitate to contact me! Arianna.
ParsaPiano, Composition, Music Theory, Harmony and counterpoint
Learning music, is directly connected to the cognition system of our mind, and our cognition is the first step to perceive the music, so it is important to understand music and perform it. I am proposing class of Piano, Composition and Music Theory and writings. In the class of Piano depending on the student's wishes, we work on different methods, from learning music just as an activity to students who are wishing to continue their profession as a musician. Class of composition has the same algorithm as the piano class, the method selection is based on student's wishes. Music Theory is proposed in both classes of composition and piano on the side but for the students who wish to learn music theory separately with more concentration, I propose this class as a separated class too. Class of Harmony and writings actually has the same situation as music theory classes but students in the class of composition will be more specialized in harmony and counterpoint than piano students and of course, this course is proposed as a separated class too.

Lessons longer than an hour are also possible for anyone over 14 years old. Other possibilities, a combination of instrumental/theory lessons and prices can be discussed.
FrançoisTrumpetmania: The new trumpet school in Brussels
Trumpetmania is a new trumpet school in Brussels whose teaching method is unique in Belgium. It is based on the student's memory technique (visual, auditory, bodily). We are all different and it is not the pupil who must adapt to the pedagogical project but it is this one which must be thought according to him. This method is also based on the flourishing of music. Our courses are not limited to the learning of the instrument as such, we place great emphasis on the assimilation of music by the body. For this we train the student in body rhythm and we include outings, among other sports, in our program. The teachers of the school are specialized in various fields: jazz, classical, instrument technique, improvisation technique, ... which will allow the student to choose according to his desires and meet his expectations. He will also benefit from a personalized follow-up. Our courses are open at all levels. It is the student who will determine with his teacher his schedules. This flexibility will leave him great freedom in organizing his schedule. The school curriculum is spread over three years and will allow the student to acquire a knowledge of a large part of scales, rhythms, to develop his musical ear, a culture of the great moments of the music and to have a better knowledge of his body through the approach of rhythm and breathing. The perspectives sought by Trumpetmania for the student is that he can quickly be confronted with the happiness of playing in a group.

AlexandreGuitar lessons (also by WEBCAM), harmony, improvisation ...
Hello everyone ! I am 39 years old, I am a professional guitarist and graduate composer. My rich and varied musical journey, going from "Art Rock" to Classic, passing by French song and currently jazz allowed me to acquire a beautiful experience that I like to share with my students. Obviously passionate about my favorite instrument, I am just as passionate about music theory. From baroque counterpoint to jazz harmony, from classical orchestration to digital music publishing, I have always thought that understanding the sound universe multiplies perspectives, opens up new horizons! My method is simple and has always proven to be effective: working in symbiosis with pure instrumental technique and the general understanding of music, its cogs which seem to the novice musician so mysterious. In addition to basic instrument learning, I also teach: 🎸️ Experimental instrumental techniques 🎸️ Work of virtuosity 🎸️ Picking game 🎤️ How to go well with singing 🎵️ Arrangement 🎵️ Composition 🎵️ Harmony (classical or jazz) 🎵️ Improvisation 💻️ MAO (Computer Aided Music) Exploring musical styles: #Pop #EXP #Classique #Electro #Jazz #Jazz Manouche #Art & Hard Rock #Chanson Française #Blues #Funk (60's / 70's) 🎥️ Possibility of lessons by webcam ️🇬🇧️ I also speak English 🏡️ I give lessons mainly at my home: Châtelain district in Ixelles, many transport nearby: 🚊️ bus (54), tram (92, 94, 81.) and metro (Louise). 🐸️ GREAT BEGINNERS welcome! (no prior knowledge necessary) see you soon ^^
Camille"Dare to improvise!" : Collective stage improvised singing
WHAT - Collective stage improvised singing Two days to dare to improvise! The circlesong is a musical structure inspired by the singer Bobby McFerrin in which a person is at the center of a group arranged in a circle and freely improvises small musical patterns (loops) that she distributes to parts of the circle and that she changes according to her inspiration. This course is for anyone who wants to enjoy a weekend of diving in the world both crazy and meditative improvised singing. During this internship, I will propose games and tools aiming at gradually bathing you in the practice of circlesong. We will put ourselves in the position of the enthusiastic explorer who thirsts for discovery by alternating between moments of experimentation of improvisation, moments of research of cohesion and listening within the group, moments of work on rhythm, precision and arrangement, moments of attention to our body language ... We will approach all this in different forms of collective cacophony where everyone sings for themselves without anyone hearing it, the jovial solo where a person expresses himself in front of the group and delights in the support she receives from the singers who accompany him. The singing time will be interspersed with small exchanges to verbalize our feelings, our questions and all that wants to express themselves. The objective of this internship is to put a foot inside the circle and go taste what it feels like to be at the center of a group that sings with you and for you. And for those who choose to stay in the circle of singers, it will be the opportunity to savor the auditory delights that will emerge from our voices while working their place in the choir (comfort and pleasure in repetition, precision voice ...).

ZaraClassical singing and piano lessons for all levels and ages
Dear parents and students, I am a professional singer and pianist from Hong Kong, having more than 10 years of experience in music teaching. I graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor degree in music (with honors), Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with a Master degree in classical singing (with distinction) and also the Post-master degree in classical singing (with distinction). I am currently a professional opera singer working mainly in Germany with conductors and directors from houses and studios such as Theater Rudolstadt, Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Komische Oper Berlin and Royal Opera House. I am a holder of Licentiate Trinity College of London (LTCL) vocal and piano performance certificates, both with distinctions (97/100 for voice and 90/100 for piano). Besides, I am a holder of DipABRSM piano performance certificate and ABRSM Grade 8 music theory certificate with merit. I have been giving private singing and piano lessons to students ranging from 3 to 50 years of age. Very happily, all of them had obtained distinctions at their ABRSM exams, some of them also won first prize at competitions. However, I do not teach music because of this. Distinctions and prizes are bonuses, but most importantly, I hope my students can enjoy and understand music. For beginners, I focus very much on building basic techniques. Alongside with that, I spend a little time on every lesson for ear training, music theory, music history, sight-reading/sight-singing, music composition, instrumentation and conducting, depending on the interest of the student. For more advanced students, I teach more about musicality and presentation. I aim to provide all-round knowledge to my students so they will be well equipped for future development. For piano students who are at the beginning of their music journey, I use a lot of creative ways to teach basic knowledge such as rhythm and fingering. These creative ways include colorful presentation slides, arranging a tailor-made version of the songs they like and introducing fun games to keep them motivated. Each student will get something different because everyone is different. As an instructor of vocal masterclasses for choir students in Hong Kong, I see myself as the person who: -- opens the door of fundamental vocal techniques for the students; -- influences them to be confident; -- shows them the beauty of human voice and vocal music; -- teaches them to embrace the others without judgement. My way and attitude of teaching was proved to be successful with a lot of positive feedback. I tend to plan my classes in detail, and give notes to students every lesson. In this case, the students can follow the lessons easily and make the best out of their time. I do not make my students always say "yes" and "okay", I like to work with them and they are always welcome to tell me their needs. Since I grew up at one of the best English schools in Hong Kong (Belilios Public School) and I have a lot of English-speaking students, I can communicate in English very fluently without accent. Besides English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese are my mother tongues. I am also knowledgeable in German, French and Italian. I am confident that I will provide my students the best learning experience.
ElenaProfessional mezzosoprano offers singing lesson to children and adults!
Hello! I’m Elena, I’m Italian and I’m 26 :) I’ve been training children and teens for 6 years, especially helping them with auditions and tests. I’ve been singing in theaters almost all my life since I started when I was just 8; nowadays I work as a professional mezzosoprano all around the world both in educational projects for kids and children and in big productions. I like teaching because I can share my experience with somebody that needs it and I always get to learn something from my pupils too: I swear teaching makes me a better singer. I give lessons for any kind of purpose: - learning music - improving musicality - preparing an audition - finding our own voice - overcoming insecurity Everybody is different, so everybody has its own path to go through; I cater my lessons on the pupil’s needs, and even if the method is always classical, I make sure that the hour of lesson is a fun moment as well as a learning experience. Music is life and life is fun!
