Excellent lesson! Starting from the basics, and learning some daily practices to do in order to become more acquainted with my vocals, musculature, and breath.
Katherine was very patient for my first singing class ever :) She explained the theory and how the body works in terms of singing well but didn't make me feel overwhelmed with information. Her constructive feedback was helpful and made me want to improve more!

My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

Gives drum lessons (electronic and acoustic)
Hello, I like to transmit and exchange with my students. Seeing them understand and progressing is essential and very rewarding for me. My lessons are based on an academic method focused on learning music theory and instrumental practice. I bring a specific method adapted to the profiles of my students (age, availability, tastes, motivation, "anti-music theory"). I try to make my students independent, help them develop their listening skills, their sense of rhythm and transmit to them an efficient working method. All styles, all levels: pop, rock, funk, jazz, blues, soul, reggae, latin

I participate in productions with the Concert d'Astrée, the Choir of Namur, Accentus, the Opéra National de Lorraine, Choir de la Chapelle Harmonique. I am also on the lists of the Montpellier Opera, Concert Spirituel, Ensemble Correspondances and Radio France choir. I have just finished a production of Haydn's Die Schöpfung at the Opéra National de Lorraine last January-February, conducted by Marta Gardolinska (Guillaume Fauchère choir director), directed by Kevin Barz. I sang solo and in chorus the role of the Trojan woman in Campra's Idomenée in 2021 at the Lille Opera and the Berlin Staatsoper, staging of the fura dels baus, I also sang the solo of Campra's Requiem at the philharmonies of Luxembourg, Lille, Essen Cologne and Berlin with the Concert d'Astrée in 2019 directed by Emmanuelle Haïm. In 2019, I participated in the production of Les Indes Galantes by Rameau with the Namur Choir at the Opera Bastille, directed by Leonardo Garcia Alarcon and directed by Clement Cogitore. In 2022, I participated in numerous productions, notably with the Accentus choir in Beethoven's 9th symphony, the missa solemnis or even a polyphonic baroque project. In 2022 I participated in the production of Hulda by Cesar Franck with the Namur Choir at the Grand Manège de Namur, the Liège Philharmonic and the Théatre des Champs Elysées. My background as well as my skills in lyrical singing allow me to master my instrument well. I am a very curious and very patient person, and I like to find solutions to problems. Transmitting my passion to students wishing to discover or develop their voices, discover their artistic personality would be a great pleasure for me. If I can transmit this joy that I have from singing as well as my acquired knowledge, it would be a great exploration for them as for me.

Trumpet lessons for 1,2 and 3 cycle 🎺 🎺🎺🎺🎺🎺
Playing the trumpet shouldn't be complicated! with a good technique routine and the right way it's not complicated enough either! I like to work a lot on breathing which I consider to be a main element and on technical ease. Works on flexibility, dexterity, and expansion of the range.

Music theory workshops and lessons for beginners average and advanced.
Currently studying music theory at an advanced level in the conservatory of Paris, I give lessons for everyone. I started my musical studies at seven years old in Lorraine where I got my music theory certificate in 2020. In 2021 I entered Paris' conservatory and progressed to where I am today. I has been more than ten years that I study musical theory and I am aware of the difficulties people can face learning it, especially children that tend to see it as boring. I discovered many different aspects of this subject and I would like to teach them to others while adapting to their needs and wishes. I can use the voice, the body, an instrument, some reading and lots of listening to develop the musical personality of students. Don't hesitate to ask me for any other informations!

Matéo
DEM Jazz graduate gives guitar lessons of all styles in Paris
Hello, my name is Matéo and I am 25 years old. I have been playing the guitar for 8 years and I have been teaching it for more than 4 years to about twenty children or adult students that I have had in private or group lessons, at home or in music school. On the diploma side, I obtained my DEM Jazz (Diploma of Musical Studies) after several years in conservatory and music school. My favorite style is therefore jazz but I teach current music in general on the guitar (acoustic as well as electric) and above all I adapt to my students to teach them what they like. In addition to learning pieces, the knowledge I have acquired allows me to approach musical theory (the rhythmic, melodic and harmonic aspects inherent in each piece) and the logic of the instrument (the organization of the notes on the handle) if necessary, the goal not being to inflict a lot of music theory on ourselves but to use it to our advantage, by small touches, in order to become a complete musician. A few words about my pedagogy: For me, the most important thing - especially when you're just starting out - is to have fun making music. What I always ask my students: “What do you want to play? What music do you like? ". Because it is this desire that will make it possible to make the effort to work to achieve the result and above all to progress on the path. After a necessary moment spent on the fundamentals (posture, position of the fingers, right hand/left hand function, open chords, rhythm, simple melodies) I thus adapt to the profile of each student to offer him avenues of work in relation to the selected piece. I think this method allows you to explore music deeply while remaining playful. I move around Paris, in priority around the 15th, 16th, and 7th arrondissement. If you have any questions, do not hesitate and look forward to meeting you! Mateo

Mia
Lyrical singing lessons for all levels in Paris
As a lyrical singer I had the opportunity to perform at an international level but also to continue to teach my profession. My "teacher creed" In vocal pedagogy, I would say that I always find myself "face to face" with a new and unique instrument - the voice: each student is unique and that is why we must look for individual didactic and methodological tools. This means that I am able to lead a singing lesson in different ways so that I can find the vocal exercises or personalized and appropriate pieces of music to get the most out of each student. My vocal technique is based on breathing exercises, awareness of the whole body as an instrument, knowledge of the biological principles of breathing as well as the artistic meaning of breathing. My basic goals are: to maintain a feeling of high position while singing (singing with resonance), binding purely distinctive vowels (legato singing), developing the range of a voice step by step and balancing the vocal registers. While "building" the voice, I take the assessment and development of a student's personality seriously, which I think is undeniable in arts education. It also consists in knowing the appropriate repertoire according to the vocal development of each student.

Oboe and Theory lessons
As a freelance oboist with over 10 years of teaching experience, both privately and in schools, I offer comprehensive oboe lessons. My teaching covers a diverse range of students, spanning from children to adults (including someone as mature as 80 – proving it's never too late to learn!). My students range from beginners to those post-grade 8. I am known for my friendly and enthusiastic teaching approach. My main goal is to ensure that all my pupils take joy in making music while working towards their individual goals, whether that involves pure enjoyment or preparation for music examinations. Additionally, I am skilled in teaching music theory, a valuable asset for enhancing musicianship and a necessity for students aiming to advance through higher music grades. With a Bachelor of Music and a Masters degree from esteemed London music colleges – the Royal College and Royal Academy of Music – my qualifications are rooted in excellence. Since then, I have embraced a performing career as a soloist and have collaborated with orchestras and ensembles worldwide.
