This class is aimed for children between the ages of 8-13 who would like to begin developing their vocal technique and find their own unique voice early whilst working in a group scenario. My Group Singing workshop is a mixture of improvisation and technique. Add to that the fun singing with other like-children and you’re looking at a contender for the highlight of your week! This class is designed to build confidence and promote individual personal and social development and is taught in a fun yet disciplined way. With a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6 students per class each student will have the opportunity to perform a solo song and also a group song each week with individual feed back and technique advice each week.

I am a professional clarinetist graduated with distinction at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels (Master Degree in Clarinet) and holding a Bachelor Diploma from the Music Conservatory of Valencia (Spain). Currently I am studying for a Master's Degree in Bass Clarinet, so we can combine both instruments in my lessons. I teach students of all ages and levels. In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes. On top of playing, I can also offer lessons on harmony, form analysis and counterpoint that focus on understanding the structure of music. The method I use in my singing lessons is divided into two main parts: the technique and the repertoire. In vocal technique, we will work on specific aspects such as the anatomy of the phonatory apparatus, its functioning, breathing, vocal emission, extension exercises, vocal register, vocal agility and vocal hygiene. . In the repertoire, we will mainly work on songs that help and support the development of everyone's artistic personality, and we will choose songs that can help the student acquire new vocal language and vocal cues.
