I firmly believe that good teaching begins with caring as much as possible about the needs and views of students, being sympathetic and being able to see the world through their lenses. The student can be as inspiring to the teacher as the teacher is to the student. The lessons can be designed individually according to your needs. We can discuss what interests you, what you want to learn, from classical or jazz to popular genres. If you're ready to find out what kind of journey and progress we can make, write to me!

[ENGLISH]
I truly believe that good teaching starts with the maximum possible amount of caring about the student's needs, point of view, practicing sympathy and being able to see the world through their glasses at least as much as it is possible. The student can be just as inspiring for the teacher as the teacher can be for the student. When they happen to fit each other, their work bears fruit in no time! The lessons can be personalized based on your needs. We can discuss what you are interested in, what you would like to learn about from classical or jazz to popular genres. About me/About me:

[GERMAN]
I am a 26-year-old musician, did my master's degree in flute in Hungary, study composition at the Berlin University of the Arts, have been giving piano, flute and music theory lessons and tutoring in mathematics for 6 years. I am a person whose whole life has always revolved around music since I was born. I always look forward to sharing other people's knowledge, having good discussions with open-minded people and discovering new perspectives and new aspects of our world.
I grew up in a family of musicians, my parents are professional musicians in a symphony orchestra. I have been learning piano and flute since I was five years old. As a child, I wanted to learn a little about as many instruments as possible, such as tuba, bassoon, violin, acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar and double bass, accordion, etc. In the end, flute, piano and composition became my profile. I have organized and performed many different concerts based on classical, contemporary, experimental, theatrical, electronic, jazz and pop music, free jazz, free improvisation, graphic notation, sound painting, performance arts, folk music of various peoples and so on. I am excited to learn something new about each type of music and find connections between pieces of music that come from quite different origins.

Native English piano lessons from an experienced tutor
ENGLISH-SPEAKING PIANO TUTOR I teach adults of all levels! I often mentor people who are just starting out, helping them develop their interest in the instrument and play the music they love. A lot of students come in with anxiety about how good or fast they're going to be able to learn. I work to build a respectful, supportive environment where you feel comfortable developing and learning at your own pace. For intermediate and advanced students, I teach with a particular focus on fundamental technique through études, and developing musicality. Oftentimes, as hobbyists, we have holes from our early studies that prevent us from developing later in life. My aim is to help correct that. You should leave with renewed confidence to tackle pieces that have intimidated or eluded you in the past. I hope to teach you soon!

Julius
Piano Lessons in Berlin by a german native speaker
(German version further down/Deutsche Version weiter unten) I enjoy teaching because it requires a deeper knowledge of the material than if one is only performing music. I am continuously learning too. I do not think that it is important how old you are or in what environment you grew up. To engage with music as a result of learning an instrument can bring your brain in a healthy state of ongoing change. People that are "without any talent" for music do not exist. Everyone can engage with music and enjoy it. I can teach Piano: - involving sheet music or not, depending on what you prefer. - or/and Music theory lessons - or/and Improvisation - or/and Jazz - or/and Ear Training - or/and Composition. The lessons can be held in English or German or a mixture of both. I teach close to Friedrichstraße in Berlin. The lessons can be done via Skype too. You can read about me as a performing musician here: Julius (*1995) is a German pianist and composer, graduated from the University of Arts Berne in Switzerland in 2017 with honors. In July 2019 he finished his Masters in the European Jazz Masters Programme through the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen with exchange semesters in Berlin and Amsterdam. Throughout his studies, he was lucky enough to receive artistic guidance by Colin Vallon, Django Bates, Harmen Fraanje, Simon Toldam, Peter Bruun, Greg Cohen, and Michael Moore. Julius was granted a scholarship by Lyra Stiftung Zürich in 2015 and 2016. Tours with his own bands have been supported by different fundings from Switzerland and Germany. He performed all across Europe during the past years.

Giorgia
Piano lessons - music theory and harmony - for any level
I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Cheslava
Piano and Singing tutor with 5 years experience and professional education
From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

Federica
Jazz/Pop/Classical Piano/Voice and Music lessons for all ages
Hi, I'm Federica, I am Italian, and I am a Jazz Piano player and singer. I studied at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague. I'm doing my Master's at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I give Jazz/Pop/Classical Piano lessons but my main goal is to try to give the student a general understanding of the music to approach every style and to have fun with music! I love to work with children, I like to teach them good values like patience, self-confidence, trust, communication, and collaboration, all through music. That's what I learn every day by studying music and that's what I would like to transfer to my students. I've been told that If you have music in your life, you can't be a bad person. I believe in it. I offer live and online lessons: Piano Vocals Ear Training Technique Improvisation Repertoire Music Theory

TURKISH REED FLUTE, NEY, NAY LESSONS FOR ALL LOVERS
Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.
