Are you into music, dancing and performing arts in general? Would you like some low-impact activity to work on strengthening and stretching all the different group muscles? Or would you like to refine and improve your dance technique over the summer? I can help you! Whether dance is your passion in life or you would just like to try something new, I'm here for you. I'm a qualified Ballet and Modern dance teacher (ISTD qualified, can also train you for recognized dance examinations) able to deliver dance and stretching/pilates-based classes at all levels. No equipment is required, just a safe space to explore your body's ability from the comfort of your own place.

My beginners classes of tap are for everyone! If you've never done any tap in your life and always wanted to try, or if you've done some tap and would like to brush up on the main steps and learn some more tips and tricks...just tag along! It's a very chill and friendly atmospheare with no judgment, only fun and noise! Don't forget to bring your tap shoes with you! *If you don't have tap shoes we can start working with socks, or jazz shoes if you have any; ideally after a few lessons we can then consider some taps to get into practice! I recommend standard tap shoes by Bloch and Capezio if you're looking to buy your first pair, but again, we can discuss it together.

If you've always wanted to try tap dancing this is your chance to go for it! In this class we will explore this beautiful combination of dancing and music making from the very basics and up! Tap dancing is very easy, it's all about weight chance and rhythm, through exercises we can improve a lot in a very short time.

I am a dance instructor with experience teaching ballet, tap, jazz, Scottish Highland, and ballroom dance. I do my best to tailor each class to fit your individual needs. Everyone comes to dance classes with specific motivations, reasons, goals. If you will communicate those goals with me, I will do my best to help them come to fruition. I have been dancing myself since I was five years old and am now in my 30s. I have had experience teaching group and private lessons for many years now. I am a certified ballroom instructor with Arthur Murray. And I was privileged to be able to teach some social dance courses at Brigham Young University while I was a student there earning my bachelor's. I am currently living in London and attending Goldsmiths University with the goal of getting a master's in Dance Movement Psychotherapy. I look forward to meeting you and sharing my great passion for dancing with you.

I grew up training in RAD ballet, ADAPT jazz and tap. After completing my RAD Advanced 2 ballet and my ADAPT Advanced jazz and tap exams, I began to teach. I have now been teaching a variety of ages and levels for eight years. I will be completing my third and final year of my ADAPT teaching certification this summer. I have completed the first year of both my RAD and Acrobatique teaching certifications I base my classes around the needs of the dancers I am working with. I teach with an emphasis on developing sound technique. I encourage my students to work hard, and focus on the areas in which the are developing. I like to challenge each dancer and create an interesting and engaging class.
